Hey I need some help! This summer I'm moving to a place an hour and a half away from my small town where everyone I grew up with are. But now they're all betraying me and I'm leaving. I want to get the laugh but now I cant cuz im leaving.Also im afraid I wont fit in at my new school or that nobody would like me or let me hang out w/ them. Im stressed out and I would appreciate an answer. Thank you in advance!

hey. I now how you feel i just started my 8th grade year and i was the knew kid. everyone looked at me like i was were a monsters mask so i know how you feel. Wat i did was i walked up to a girl at a differnt table and said can i sit there and they said no. So then i walked over to the next table of girls and said can i sit there and they said sure. You might strike out a couple of times but you know something soon or a later your gonna hit the table of nice gilrs and your gonna have lunch room buds for life.

MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD!!!
Im in a lunch period where none of my new friends are in it. my friends from my old school (im a freshman)are there, but we're in different classes and they sit with some of their friends who are in those classes, so i kinda feel uninvited from the kids i dont know. So today I tried to take this advice and sit with a girl in some of my classes. There were these two girls, however, sitting at the same table and they obviously didnt want me or the other girls sitting there. they wwere giving us wierd looks and whispering to each other, and this felt really hurtful. I knew they thought we didnt deserve to sit there since we really dont know each other, so now im scared to sit somewhere cuz i dont wanna feel rejected or a bother. any suggestions??




Hey girl, don't let those girls bother you. I think the trick to dealing with situations like that is to kill them with kindness. When they start whispering, instead try to involve them in the conversation so they don't have the chance (and they can see how nice you really are). You can also try sitting with your old friends. Chances are they'll be a lot warmer to you joining them and will be happy to introduce you to their new buds.

Okay, so I am entering 7th grade, and last year a lot of people I went to school with thought I was really annoying, and whenever I tried to hang out with someone they seemed to always ignore me, run away from me, or tell me to go away and then when I looked hurt say "just kidding". This year my goal is to find my group of friends, I already took volleyball, cross country, and swimming last year but I never really seemed to fit in with anyone. Got anything to help my stitch?

Hey girl, why not try reaching out to them? All it takes is a little small talk and inserting yourself into a group. Take up a new club too (maybe not sport) to see how you like it. Don't be afraid to speak up and put yourself in new situations to meet people.

MOD I'm riding the bus for the first time ever this year and I'm kinda nervous. I don't think any of my friends are on the same bus! Do buses usually get super full?

 

 

Hey girl. It depends on where you go to school. Most districts are pretty good about numbers on buses. If the bus is over crowded ask your mom to call the school. You only have to take it to and from school. Get to know the kids at the bus stop and you will feel more confident.

The first day of school for me is so exciting, but it is also super crazy and disorganized. At lunch time is where the confusion begins. We have assigned seats in our cafeteria. The first week is when we get to move around and decide where to sit. Most people end up staying in the seat they started at from the first day. How do i get a good seat with all my friends around me?
