MOD i have this spot of red dry skin right next to my nose with little bumps on it but its not itchy or anything. its really hard to cover up with makeup and i put lotion on it but it doesnt go away! any idea what i should do???

Hey girl,

If there's no rule in your school about nail polish, then I think anything goes!! But if you want a more subdued color, try light pink or even beige/nude--it's very in right now. x0x0

Mod! All my family have black circles under their eyes and I inheritted them. It's not sleep distress I will have it even if I get like 12 hours of sleep. What can I use to hide them?







Hey girl. Try a little bit of concealer followed by a little powder. You can also look for concealing products specifically for under eye circles.

MOD I'm getting a haircut tomorrow, but I don't really want to cut off my length. I just want to get a trim, and I want to get my face-framing fringe pieces trimmed. I want medium-to-long-length layers, but I put my hair in side braids and stuff alot, so will that work? Is there anything else I can do to make my hair look different, but not too different? Thanks! ~Jessie <3 PS. I already have feathers in my hair, and I tried bangs, but I let them grow out because they weren't the best look for me.

 

 

 

Hey girl. It sounds like you know what you want. If you are getting any sort of layered look you just have to make sure the layers are long enough to put into the style you want. For a quick change you could try new hairstyles from this site or changing your part.

Ok so I start school in september but i'm going on vacay like last week in august.I'm not allowed to wear makeup yet, though! I wanna look really cute when we go to the beach and everybody says I have nice eyes but my eyelashes curl up so you can see them very well (unless your up close). How do i make them better and more noticeable?

The best part about the beach is the "beach look" - it's all about going natural! Try a simple lip balm to keep your lips pink and soft, then walk with confidence in your bathing suit. You can use a damp fingertip to push your eyelashes up and give them a slight curl, but there really aren't any makeup substitutes that are worth investing in. Instead, embrace the natural look (complete with beachy waves, boho braids, and a great tan) and you'll be all set Smile

I'm getting my haircut soon and I want a new look for school and I want it too look good but I want a hairstyle to match my face shape. I know face shape and I was wondering what hairstyles you could get it complement it . Thanks a lot !
P.S. My face shape is a heart.




Hey girl,

For heart-shaped faces, the best haircuts include some sort of bangs! A long sideswept bang will balance out the wider part of your face (the top) and call attention downward toward the eyes, which is great. Otherwise, you can try whatever you're comfy with: a shoulder length bob, longer layered waves, chin-length tapered cuts, anything! Try chatting with your hairdresser to come up with the best style for your daily routine Smile

Hey, so I get my school I.D. picture taken tomorrow but i have an acne scar right in the middle of my nose! Its too late to go to the store and i tried covering it with the liquid foundation but it wouldnt work! How can i get rid of this scar so at least its not that noticeable??




Hey girl,

No sweat, calm down first off! In the morning, use a sponge or wash cloth to dab the foundation over the scar. Create a base, then see if any of your besties can bring a powder foundation to school with you. (Or maybe you can stop off at a drugstore beforehand?) Apply the powder over top with a brush or even dust it on with your fingertips. Remember, it won't cover the scar completely...and I'm sure you'll think it hasn't done anything at all since it's your scar and you're the most familiar with it. But lightly layering a liquid and powder on top will definitely make it less noticeable!!
