Hey chica, well I'm glad you want it, because I'd like to get rid of mine lol. But no, there's nothing wrong with wanting your period. For some girls it's a sign of becoming a woman, and I can understand why you'd be ready to reach that step. Just know it will come soon and won't go away for a long time.

Hey i'm worried because I haven't gotten my period yet and i'm 13. I'm not super active or athletic really. And my family has a history of the girls in our family getting their periods early. Help!

Hey girly! Some girls are just late bloomers, in the period department. If you're super active or athletic, that could delay your period. I'd be honest with your mom about it. She'll understand. After all, she's been there and knows how you feel. Maybe mention that you've been talking about it with your friends, and you haven't gotten your period yet. Then, ask her when she first got hers.
