Bloody nose babe

I've been getting bloody noses a lot, usually every other day. Do I need to tell my doc?

girle,
i have the same prob. what we have is low blood platlites. platelites are cells that clog our blood when we bleed.we have them but they dont function really well so that causes nose bleeds that last a long time. add me as a firend and we will talk alot more

I have a really sore throat. Is there any home remedies besides gargling warm salt water. It hurts for me to gargle anything.

 

Hey chica!

I've always been a fan of warm tea when my throat hurts.  Chamomile is known to be soothing, but if it doesn't fit your tastes, any tea does the trick.  Cough drops are always another options since certain kinds numb your throat.

Today at around 4, my friend was riding my longboard, she was about to fall off so she decided to grip onto my neck to break her fall. It really hurt my neck, and since the moment it happened I have been feeling dizzy and have a HUGE headache. My eyes are killing me right now, it's nearly impossible for me to be writing this on the computer because it hurts so bad! I basically can just sit down and keep my head completely straight or else it hurts a lot, also my neck is a teensy bit stiff. I tried taking an extra strength advil but nothing worked! Should I go to the doctor?

mod mod mod how can u tell the differemce in hardcore,posthardcore,thrash metal,heavy metal and death metal? and is there any trye screamo anymore?




Hey girl! 




Hardcore music is faster and heavier sounding than other kinds of punk rock. AFI and Rise Against are hardcore bands. Post-hardcore music is usually loud, has fast tempos, and heavy bass music. Hawthorne Heights, the Used, and Sense Fail are all considered post-hardcore bands. Thrash metal is fast and aggressive sounding, and songs of the genre are often about social issues. Metallica and Megadeath are examples of thrash metal bands. Death metal is a subgenre of heavy metal, and there's a distorted guitar sound, blast beat drumming, and complex song structures with lots of tempo changes. Athiest, Possessed, and Obituary are death metal bands. And heavy metal is generally loud, with guitar solos and a thicker sound, and includes bands such as Iron Maiden, Bullet for My Valentine, and Lamb of God. Hope this helps!

She might of broken a blood vessel in her nose some how, or if she has air conditioning in her home running all the time that may be it too. My little brother whose 4 has this and had it ever since he just learned to walk because he fell on his face...Don't worry anyone he was fine. His nose only bleeds when he bumps it a little hard...:-/ He doesn't bleed every second or anything. Come to think of it, its been a while since he had a nose bleed.

My parents are divorced, and my sister, my brother, and I used to go over to my dad's house every weekend. My sister stopped going awhile ago and never told me why. This weekend she told me that it was because he would hurt her. For example, he would pull on her wrist when she had a cyst on it or hit her on her back. She told authorities but they said it was discipline and wouldn't do anything. I sometimes worry that he might do something to me. My sister said he won't do it anymore. She says that he's become nicer. What should I do? Thanks, you guys are always very helpful.


 


Hey there girly! If you don't feel comfortable going to your dad's, then I'd tell your mom. But, it sounds like this may have been between your dad and your sister. Since you weren't there, you don't know what really happened. I'd be on guard when you're there. I'm sure your dad loves you alot and wants to see you. Maybe he realized that he was wrong and really had changed. If he ever does anything similar to you, I'd tell your mom and sister.

if u put a little piece of paper or something under ur top lip it stops it like immediately. one of my campers got a nosebleed once and our nurse told her to do that, it was sooo crazy!

I have been getting a lot of bloody noses since about the middle of August. I had a cold, but it went away and I still get them. Yesterday I had three for no reason. They often happen when I wash my face. Should I see a doctor about it? Thanks

Yes, losing that much blood on a regular basis isn't great for anyone's health. It's probably nothing serious, but it's definitely better to ask your doctor about this so they can give you a professional opinion/diagnosis! <3

Hi! I have a "gym" class at school where all we do is yoga. I got my period and am really worried. I never where anything but pads and I'm like ReAlLy scared of tampons. Do u think I'll be okay with pads? Thnx!




Hey girl,

You might feel a lil awkward because you have to wear yoga pants/sweatpants and the pads might feel noticeable in such tight clothing, but you'll be fine! If you want, try snagging a soft long cardigan to wear over your tank top and yoga pants. Victoria's Secret has some cute ones! And it'll hide the bulge of the pad so you don't have to think about it so much Smile (Also, don't be scared of tampons! I use them and they are SO easy!)
