Hey girlie,

You don't want him to move away and you always question yourself, "What if I...?" Obviously you probably won't be able to really date him long-term if he's moving, but you'll never know what would happen if you don't try. So start talking to him! Use the fact that he's moving as an icebreaker - "I hear you're going to __city he's moving to__! That sounds so cool, I've always wanted to go there." Or ask him a question about class, talk to him about one of his biggest interests, etc. Then once you've let a lil time pass, start flirting, complimenting him, teasing him, etc. and trying to take your friendship to the next level. At the very least, you'll get to know him a little better and might even be able to stay in touch while he moves away. Go for it!

ok so i like this guy we talk every single day. and he even took me to homecoming. and he asked me to be his gf. and i 100% wanted to, then i talked to my mom and she yelled at me so, it didnt work out. nd we had a talk about it. lke he said he will always love me, and the future is still possible. but now he dating a new girl. and like now im really really really upset about it. like depressed almost. and idk what to do. to get over the situation. i told him i want him to be happy. and im so NOT jealous over his new girl. but i feel like it should be me. please help me! thanks




I suggest you talk to him about it. That may give you some closure. But he is free to date anyone and boys often move on a bit too fast. I think you need some TLC from your best friends to help you feel better and move on. Its gonna take time, but youll get better. Maybe eventually when you can date youll be able to give him a chance. For now just forget about him. xoox kerra

Ok so my friend Hannahs best freind Katalin sits next to me in my 7th hour class and we talk about guys a lot and i thought i could trust her so i told her about how i have a huge crush on a guy named John. Well she talked to him at lunch today and said "So your the boy Courtney likes?" and i heard from my friend Jenny who heard from Johns friend Corey that he liked me but now he doesnt because i talk to much and Katalin told John that I told her that he said that to me and he was like "What? I never said that!" and then she told him i talk about him a lot... After school today he kept looking at me like he always does but he also gave me that look like theres the crazy chick that likes me.. Idk what I should do because I feel really awkward now like I have an even smaller chance of him liking me back or dating me.. what do you think? sorry this is so long/ confusing Smile

Phew, first off - calm down about it. This is easily fixed! Try chatting John on FB or IM and say something like, "Hey I heard that some people were saying stuff about me liking you and it made it sound like way intense. I'm sorry if this creeped you out! It creeped me out because it's so untrue haha." Or something else that's more your tone of speaking, basically just saying sorry for the misunderstanding and sorry for my friends being gossipy/lying. Then, back off a little bit. Try not to talk about him for a while and, instead, appear confident, happy, and busy while also being carefree. That's the kind of attitude that will totally hook a guy - the opposite of an intense, "crazy chick that likes me" attitude Smile That way, if he does like you, he'll be drawn to you because you're kinda acting like you're unavailable, even though you're not. Then just play it cool. Talk to him sometimes, but not obsessively. You'll strike a balance and totally get it soon! <3

Hey girly, I'm not sure if he'll think it's weird. He will most likely be flattered because that's an unexpected compliment. You never know though so give it a shot. It could lead to the next step in getting to know him!

MOD MOD MOD There is a guy at church who watches me and when our eyes meet he keeps staring in my eyes or he quickly looks away. He is 18, a legal adult, I'm a few years younger. He isn't a predator, he's just always around. He brags a lot about things, like his jobs, his car, things he has done; yet when I'm not around he tends to complain about things like how his work is tiring, etc. He likes to show off his skills, such as wandering right next to me with his baby cousin, showing his skill with kids. He came into the kitchen to ask his mom what time it was, even though he has a phone and there was a clock next to him. He speaks softly to me and sometimes jokes around, carefully though. He talks about me to my parents, and he loves to say nice things about me to someone else even though I'm in front of him. Yet he doesn't talk to me when my friends are around. He made sure I saw when he took his sweatshirt off, the type with no zipper, over his head, dramatically.
Does he like me?!

I have blonde hair and brown eyes, which is an uncommon trait. A couple of boy in my science class realized that and now they call me "Fake Blonde" and it's really annoying! I use a blonde conditioner, but I never highlighted it or dyed it. I love my hair and my eyes, but I hate them calling me fake! What do I do?




Tell them that it doesn't matter what they say because you and those that matter know that you were born a blonde Smile

Ugh. I HATE this stereotype that guys like blondes better. Guess what, i'm blond, blue eyed, tall and skinny, and guess what! Guys hate me. I've never had a boyfriend in my life, and I'm in 8th grade. I havn't figured out yet what guys see in certain girls and makes them want to date them, but it has nothing to do with hair color.

I am like kind of a mixture of blonde and brunnete. Like I have darker hair under, and like goldish blondish highlights on top. (BTW I did't die my hair, thats my natural color) Is that considered blonde??

No one judges someone just on hair color, but just like some of us think guys with a certain hair color are hotter I do think there are some guys who just like blondes and then I have heard some guys says they prefer brunettes. You can think one of the other is more attractive but you shouldnt be close minded, and guys shouldnt be either.

I think its better for a guy to have a hot body no matter what his hair color is.

okay, so I know this guy who is a family friend. he has a little brother who likes my little sister. the guy and I have two classes together I don't like him he's not ugly but he's not hot. His locker is between my friend and mine a few weeks ago we texted him to apologize for something it wasn't that bad. We went to his house for 4th of July and he put his # on my sister's iPod, this past weeked my sister texted him a bunch of random stuff well she asked if he likes me then she was like jk jk jk jk jk jk jk she doesn't like you like that. Now I have no clue what i'm going to tell him Wednesday(we are on fall break)I barely know this guy. I was thinking play it dumb but if he ask my friend(she has classes with him before I do)what do I do,and this isn't the first time this has happend i'm just alone. Should I tell him I have a boyfriend so he won't think I like him. I think this has also ruined our parents friendship but he's not the type to tell his mom.




Hey girl! Wow that is one long friendship. I don't think you have anything to worry about. It may seem awkward at first and he may think you are just messing with him, but just go up to him and apologize for your sisters text and tell him you just found them and didn't know she had sent them. Make it clear that you only want to be friends with him. But don't lie! That is no way to be in a friendship.

So I feel TERRIBLE. I had this bad habbit of chewing tic tacs when i wasnt paying attention. My mom explained not to do that or i would break a tooth and two days ago i got one or two small cracks on a tooth!! They arent open just little nicks but now i have to go get it fixed through a root canal or a filling or two. I'm so dumb why didnt i listen?? Frown how can i feel better and stop beating myself up? Also I'm a tiny bit afraid of dentists so i dont know how to cope with the novacane needle, i know they sorta numb you but that doesnt help with the roof of your mouth! Sorry so long.




Hey girly! I am so sorry! That seems like it hurt cracking you teeth. Habits are very hard to break, but with time and effort you will be able to do it! Cut back on in the tic tacs and when you do let your self have one, pay attention and make sure you are not biting. It may take some time though. As for the dentist, everyone is scared of the dentist and little bit. You have nothing to worry about, they know exactly what they are doing. And having your mom sit in the room with you is completely acceptable.
