I'm becoming kind of worried about my BFF. She's in a Miss Teen State pageant in January and she's dieting for it. I know I'm a healthy weight, but she's five inches taller than me, weighs six pounds less, and is planning on loosing a lot more weight. It's to the point that when were hanging out during the holidays she won't eat a cookie or anything. I know part of it is her won choice, but part of it is also her mom pressuring her to lose a lot of weight. I'm worried she's going to get unhealthily skinny- Is there any way I can tell her I'm concerned without sounding critical or making her mad?




Well so far it doesnt sound like shes being too bad about it. Refusing to eat a cookie isnt that bad. However if she stops eating anything then there might be an issue. Keep an eye on her and be there to support her. Good luck! xoxo kerra

Hey what is the most healthiest granola bars with alot of fiber in it????? I have dance every day for 3 hours and i need a lil something to eat before practice!!! Thanks!!!




Hey girlie,

Try Kashi's granola bars, which are lower in sugar and come packed with about 15% of your daily fiber value. That's great for one little bar! Smile  You could also try Luna bars (my fave is the LemonZest), which are slightly higher in calories but will keep you full and energized through dance practice! And they taste great.

MOD MOD MOD I feel like I eat too much, and I'm always hungry. I am very active but I am always eating and my stomach has a lot of fat than the other girls at school and my team. Is there a way to cut back on the eating Thanks( :

 

Hey chica, when watching your eating be sure you don't starve or stuff yourself. It may be good to trade some of the greasy unhealthy foods you eat for fruits and veggies. Trade in soda for a smoothie or water, and chips for granola bars. Exercising will help a lot too. Hope this helps!!! Smile Smile

MOD MOD MOD! I have a pimple and I have popped it a few times because it had the white blood cells....IT KEEPS COMING BACK!!!!! I need some advice! what makeup do i use to cover it up (already use foundation) and a type of cleanser to use ( I use that Biore astringent stuff after im done washing my face. Thanks a ton!!!!!

 

Hey chica, I would try dabbing a bit of concealer on it too. We really need to find you something that will make it go away. My friend uses toothpaste to remove her pimples. Witch hazel or Burt's Bees may also help! Smile Smile
