Not invited to the class holiday party

This girl is having a huge holiday party, and she invited everyone in the class except three people. I was one of the three.

well thats not fair but we all have 2 realize we dont always get 2 do what every1 else does. 4 instance , if that girl in french got the adorable shoes u wanted and had them and u didnt. well life isnt always fair so we have to deal with it.

If I were the person that didn't get invited i'd think "I didn't get invited to the party, so what? It's not like she's my friend. Plus I bet they piged out on candy and watched movies all night and all day. I don't need any candy and I definetally don't need to be rotting my brain for 7 hours straight". Right? So don't worry about it, you've got plenty of healthier thing to be doing. And you can even throw you're own party to lighten you're spirits.

Is going to that party really the most important thing in life? NO we all know that and mabey she forgot so don't think some thing that might not be true. You should ask her about it and mabey it was a mistake.
You can ask about it more I am a advice queen on everything.

Hey MOD
So i found out my Grandpa has 2-4 weeks to live, because his heart is failing. Everyday it's getting a little worse and worse, and it's really starting to bug me. I really wanna talk to my bestfriends about it, but i just feel like i'll be bothering them, since they have other problems to worry about. I mean, i guess i just feel like it's my problem & not anything they should be worried about. I would talk to my mom about it, but she always just says that it "needs to happen" and it's "what he wants". I just want to hear something good for once. I've never had a family member die before, so it's even harder on me. I guess i just really wanna talk to someone about it, i'm just not sure how you're supposed to bring it up... Any tips?

I am so so sorry to hear about your grandfather. You could try talking to a counselor or a religious leader or another adult who you trust. They will be able to help you talk about your grief and will know how to handle it better than a friend or family member who is also sad as well. Stay strong girly and know that everything will be okay!

this happened to me before: someone (idk who) was giving out halloween invitations, and the only reason i knew they were giving them out was because when everyone opened their binders, there was the paper with the pumpkin on it. i wasn't angry but somehow i felt left out.

I made a really awesome great new friend this year. We talk a lot and seem like we have the potential to become best friends. She's friends with a lot of mean girls who have bullied me in the past, but I really haven't cared until now. I feel like one of those girls is spreading rumors about me to her and they always give me rude looks whenever I talk to her or when we hang out. Should I do something or ignore it?

Well, ask yourself this question: are the rumors they're spreading changing the way she acts around you? If so, then you can address it with her. (Just say something like, "I have no idea what they have against me, but please don't believe the stuff they say. It's so annoying that they spread stuff like that, but I just can't control it. Trust me - if something is true, I'll tell you." If it's not affecting her behavior towards you though, ignore it! It's just silly gossip and she's probably a smart person, who knows to believe your story, not theirs. You're friends with her for a reason! Smile

It's ok I remember when I wasn't invited to something. It was the day of my big vollyball game and I overheard that if we win the game they were going over to Mcdonalds so I waited and waited to get invited then at the big game no one invited me I was sad then my mom helped me get through she knows how ALL of us feel they've been through this!

Mod Mod Mod!!!
Lately, my friend has been really moody and sometimes mean. Like just yesterday, some person accidentally spilled water on her and she got so mad that she took her own water bottle and poured water all over them.
And lately she'll be talking to me and then suddenly stop and go talk to someone else, usually the more popular people. It really bugs me and makes me sad because I'm left by myself all of the time.
Help please!




Hey girlie,

Try catching her when she's kinda calm/relaxed and say something like, "Hey...is everything ok?" Let her respond - she'll probably say, "Yeah, why?" Then you can say something mature and vague about the situation to get her to open up, like, "You've just seemed really stressed lately. Like kinda mad or something." If she doesn't want to talk, that's ok. But at least she knows people have been noticing it - and that you care enough to mention it. <3 Give it a try!
