MOD I have this same problem. But I think I'm to late! One time we made eye contact in the hall, like 2 months after he found out I liked him. It was reallllyyyy awkward. Am I to late to fix things up?

@reshegole-- sorry its been a while so mods plz hurry this, i did the same thing lol I'm be sties with my crush and i really think he likes me too but you'll never know if you don't ask. ask a friend to ask him out for you and don't be depressed if the answer is no. maybe the time wasn't right I'm still praying hoping and wishing with my whole soul my bestie feels the same to me and i hope you're in the same stich I'm gonna tell u my story and plz c if u can help and do the same for u... ok I'm just gonna do today's he chose to sit by me over another guy,let me lean on him, sat by me all day,let me kiss his cheek, text me until he got home (cause he doesn't get service at home), and i told him i missed him and he told me to play the game we played earlier to remember him... and that's just today! He also magically came over and helped me when we went iceskating when nobody saw i'd fallen and danced with me a billion times and the dance.. and made everyone scoot so i didn't have to sit

Hiya... So my crush, he's also one of my best friends. We always play fight and pick on each other. I used to get him in trouble with the teacher when we were younger and we HATED each other.He is annoying as mess, and Im usually mad at him. He knows I like him, but he doesn't really seem to care. He's also kinda 'touchy-feely' always trying to hug me(which I reject). When I told him that I liked him I told him it was going to be as awkward as HE made it. I think he really took it to heart because he acts like I never even mentioned it. I dont know if he likes me back because he's always flirting with me... When I told him my dad thought he was my BF, he said ew.I have no clue if Im too far into the friend zone to get out. He treats me like one of his guy friends. What should I do about him?

AND hes in 8th grade, and like, 75% of the girls that like him are in 7th grade also. so, hes like a popular guy. ive only said hi to him because i dont think he would seem interested in anything 7th grade girls say. plus, my friend that like him and i are too shy to talk to him. please tell me what to do!!!!! <3

Oh boy, sooo many of us have been in that situation! Try starting with the tips in this article to get his attention. He's only one grade above you and, while that might seem like a lot (to you and to him), it won't matter if you catch his eye and make him interested. Next, try this article and this article for tips on actually talking to him. Since he's older and has so many other girls trying to get his attention, chances are he won't just come up to you and whisk you off your feet like a fairytale. You'll have to overcome that fear and TALK TO HIM so he knows such a fabulous girl exists Smile

MOD!! So me and this guy are really close. i helped him out of an unhealthy relationship with his girlfriend. then we started hanging out and we climbed rocks together and watched the sunset. he asked my bff if i liked him cause he liked me but my best friend said no. so he went back out with his old girlfriend who happens to be one of my good friends. then i told my bff i do like him and she told him.we're still really close but its a little bit awkward between us. Any ways to make it less awkward??

It's only awkward if you let it be that way! It's normal to feel uncomfy around each other because you don't really know how to act, but banish the awkwardness by challenging yourself to be warm and friendly again. In each situation, ask yourself: how would we have acted before all this happened? Then, behave that way. Be friendly, joke around with him, and try to overcome your nerves to get back into a normal friendship. It'll take some work but you can do it! He'll take your cue and, over time, will totally relax <3

I'm a little confused about my crush. When I talk about volcom or snowboarding, skateboarding, the kind of stuff he likes... we hit it off. But when I talk about other stuff, the conversation isnt as fun. He's really cute, and really funny, yet he's dating another girl in my class (I don't think they're hitting it off). What can I do to hold his interest? I only see him in 2-3 classes. And that's if I'm lucky. His "girlfriend" is just so clingy, I can't get him to notice me. The one time he noticed me was when I was sitting outside looking depressed and angered at the world (apparently) and another chica was asking me stupid questions. He told her "She's not in the mood. Can't you tell?" He's noticed that I got a new shirt (uniform?!?!), he thinks i'm artistic, and said he likes my voice. So what does all this mean? Can someone help me understand the guy code?

You gotta find those interesting things you both have in common! You like talking about snowboarding/skateboarding/etc. because you're both into it. When you talk about other things, he's probably less passionate about it so the convo gets less fun. Totally understandable! Ask him questions about himself and see where that takes you - that way, you can learn more about him and figure out the best things to really get him talking. As for getting him to notice you, he's "taken" right now so just get to know him as friends. Ask him questions about homework, chat online, and keep things casual. When he's single again, you can flirt and tease and compliment him a little more to really get him to notice Smile

MOD MOD MOD I have a friend who I like but he's 16 and I'm 13, I'm in 8th grade and he's in 11th. He is really nice to me and brings me home from play practice all the time. I saw him yesterday and he asked if I wanted to go sledding with him and his family but I couldn't since I was leaving town later that day. And he said that still should. Take advantage of those invitations to hang out! Since he asked you to go sledding, that means he enjoys your company - so use that to muster up some confidence and ask him yourself. Say something like, "I'm back in town - can I take you up on that offer to go sledding now? Smile" Or you could say, "So bummed I missed sledding! Can I make it up to you with a trip to the bowling alley?" It might make ya a little nervous and he won't always be able to say yes, but you gotta give it a try! Ask him to hang out more and you'll get to know him better as friends.

Okay, so one of my BGF's (who I don't have a crush on) has been coming over to my house lately. He lives in my neighborhood and he often comes over to play video games with me since we both LOVE videogames. I'm starting to wonder if he has a crush on me because he has complimented both on my throwing skills and he says I am good at playing video-games overall. He even brought over some candy/fudge for us as a Christmas gift one day! Do you think he likes me or not? Help me please! Thanks Smile

The gift could've been an idea from his mom (as a friendly holiday present from their family to yours) and the compliments on your video game skills could be because he's such an expert on them. He'd probably compliment a guy friend who made an impressive score too. BUT these could also be signs that he's crushin', too. Anyway, moral of the story...it's hard to tell just based on these two things ;) Keep hanging out, talking and growing closer, and try to pick up on his vibe. You obviously don't wanna flirt with him to see if he flirts back (because that would be leading him on), but you can still observe how he acts around you, if he compliments you more, etc. Let some time pass and I think you'll have a better idea Smile
