I'm in volleyball at school so I run at least a mile at least twice a week but unfortunately we run at 1:00 pm do its over 100 degrees and there isn't a cloud in the sky today after volleyball when we had been running one of my guy friends in boys athletics came Up to me and eas like guess what we get to do Monday run in 60 Degree weather before the suns up I was so annoyed when he said that lol

I run a mile in gym and have a time of 9:30 and I want it to be 7 minutes. I am also ____ pounds and I really need to lose at least 10 pounds. I also here you must work leg and stomach muscles. Is there an advanced routine that can help?

Last year, my mile time was 10:12 this year it was 8:40 something, we'll have to run it again soon and I want to get it into the 7 minute range...so these tips are great!

Hey gymnastics111, you may not be able to run but you can do other exercises inside your home. Try jumping jacks, push ups, sit ups, and leg lunges. Do these for a couple hours each day. Your bod will stay looking fit. Hope this helps!! Xoxo modmodmod i live in ct, its winter time, and during the day it gets down to like 20 degrees. I play field hockey in the fall, and I really improved my mile time and 2 mile time. I want to stay in shape, but running in 20 or below weather is not good for your body, or for mine at least, my throat starts hurting really bad when i run in the cold. But i dont own a treadmill or anything like that. I dont have a ride to the gym, and i really dont what to get out of shape over the winter. What can i do to stay in shape, and keep running? THanks! I play field hockey for my highschool, we have a coach who is serious about running, 2 miles each day in preseason. My mile time was 8:50 before the season, at the end it was 7:05 I was siked, i cut off a whole minute in one run one time!

Luckily I have a very fast mile time (6:45) , with little training. My advice is keep running, no matter what. DO NOT WALK! Whenever I walk, my body tenses and it is hard to run again. Also, make sure to stretch. I also try to keep up with someone who i know is slightly faster so I can improve my time! Hope I helped

I should try doing things like this. I might start running with my dad sometime. Also something that I do when I start getting really tired is start counting I count to 8 or 4 like I would count in band while counting the rests, it helps me keep a beat to run to. I did that while running for warm ups in volleyball.
