I've been looking for a good makeup palate with tons of different colors and I saw one just like I wanted at Target for around $8.00. Seems pretty cheap to me. I mean, it would be WONDERFUL if it's a reliable makeup. Is ELF a good brand?

ELF Cosmetics are on the cheaper end of the makeup spectrum, and the old saying is true - you get what you pay for. I like shopping ELF products for dramatic eyeshadow colors or eyeliners that I won't normally use. For a special occasion (like New Years or a birthday party or Halloween), getting the cheap stuff isn't so bad. They aren't horrible products - from what I've used, they work well enough. But if you're going to use it everyday, I think I'd probably spend slightly more to get better quality. Try Ulta brand makeup palates or a smaller one from Revlon/Maybelline, with a coupon from the drugstore you're at.
