This is a prefect idea. Kids at my school get away with havingtheir phones out. But uggs aren't a problem cause they keep them in their pockets. It's good that a school is cracking down on kids.

This is so not fair. I kep my lip gloss and phone in my boot, and without uggs, I would have to keep them at home. I mean seriously people, have a heart!!

i really don't think this was bad at all. Uggs were a part in making kids distracted. Now they are not. I love uggs but I understand.

That is so not fair, cuz I put my lipgloss and compact in my ugg boots. And alot of other kids at my school do to.

I believe this rule is fair and I wish my school would do that. I'm tired of all the popular kids never getting introuble for anything wrong they do, but if a usually good student does it once-just once!-they automatically get caught.

i think tht its tottaly outrageous tht boots r banned at tht school i mean SERIOUSLY?!?! banning boots?! the least of their worries should be if they put their phones inside the side of their boots... what they should really be worrying about is freaking bullying! Or gangs!!!

I dont have uggs but want a pair! I would be fine with bearpaw too! I have seen kids at my school do this, but they used ipods and its during recess. My besties do this and i try to tell them its bad, but they wont listen! How can I get my friends to stop doing this and let them know its bad?

Hey girl,

Unfortunately, you only have so much control over your friends, so if they want to go against the rules and you've tried to warn them, there's only so much you can do -- they might get upset if you keep telling them it's a bad idea! You don't have to do it just because they are, so don't let them convince you it's worth it to get in trouble with them. If you've tried talking to them and they still do it, just leave it alone and don't participate!
