BFF dilemma: My mom hates my buds!

My mom thinks all my friends are bad examples. How can I make her see that they’re good people?

Yeah...I'm sort of a bad influence on my friends. Like we got out and do fun, crazy things that will probably get us in trouble, but really, whats the point in growing up if you don't get in trouble at least millions of times?

I have a couple friends who have gone through a lot and my mom blames the circumstances on them. My BFF was told by her parents to never come back to the house so she walked across the highway to the neighborhood her friend lived and then my BFF's rents called the cops saying she ran away!

There's a new girl at school, and she recently moved halfway across the country. She's really nice, and we're becoming friends. I want us to hang out sometime, but what would I say, and what could we do? Thanks! ^.^

Hey girl,

That's great that you made a new friend -- she's probably really grateful to have a new pal after moving so far! Why not invite her to hang out at your house, or go to the mall or to see a movie? You could hang out one-on-one or invite some of your other friends along. Have fun!
