Is he unromantic... or just a jerk?

I get that he's not lovey-dovey, but why does he have to be so mean?

I like this guy alot but I always get scared to talk to him,but I don't no if he likes me back.Should I tell him how I feel. Please help me!

Hey bugie91344, before you confess your feelings, see if you can figure out how he feels about you. Don't be scared to talk to him. He's just a boy and there's nothing to be nervous about. If you really can't overcome your nerves, pretend to be confident. You gotta fake it to you make it. Once you get confident, start flirting and see where it goes. Hope this helps! Xoxo

MOD MOD MOD so i really like this guy ALOT! i told one of my friends and want to tell more of them. but the other day this one girl asked the guy i like out and i told my friend and she was like eww who would ever like him that is soo gross. also it is my bffs twin brother. she was talking about and he told her he likes it when girls let him know when they like him. please help me and give me some ideas on how i could let him know without it being awkward with him or any of my friends and his sister!!!! laney Smile

Hey socestar8, first you have to start talking to him, if you don't already. Try flirting, giving him compliments, joking with him, and always giving him hugs and waving hi. You could ask him questions like "Do you have a girlfriend?" and "What type of girls do you like?" to let him know you're interested without actually saying it. Then it may be good to talk to your bff. Some friends may not be comfortable with their friends and siblings dating, so see how she feels. And I wouldn't talk about him to your friends who don't like him. Hope this helps! Xoxo

MOD MOD MOD Me (15) and my bf(16) are in a deep deep hole. We've been dating for two weeks now and my parents wont let me do anything with him at. We arent allowed at my house or his house or the movies or anything! We have to be with friends, but not all of them get along and we don't want to have to put up with us. We really really want to hang out more, and his mom wants to meet me but my parents think were going way to fast...but were not.Theyre afraid of me getting hurt but i want to be able to hang out with my bf with out lying to my parents. what am i supposed to do??? and how are me and my bf supposed to hang out and actually get to know eachother? please please help! Thanks Smile

Hey pati5dance,  think you should sit down and discuss this with your parents. Let them know that right now you and your boyfriend, are just that "friends" who are trying to get to know each other. If you explain everything you did to me, they may understand a little more. It may also help to set up a dinner where he, his mom and you and your parents meet and talk. That way everyone will be on the same page about your relationship. Hope this helps! Xoxo

MOD! Ok, so one of my friends wants to join volleyball, and there are 2 ranks, intermediate and beginner. I play intermediate, and she asked me to get her a form. Thing is, she did intermediate before, and she wasnt all that great, and now they're really pushing us to bump-set-spike, but she cant even get it over the net with a single pass. I made sure that she knew that its a highschool level of play, and she knew. I saw her play a game in gym next week, and she was like, serving at the seiling and letting the ball drop right in front of her. I was thinking of just telling her that I talked to the chairperson for a form, and the chairperson remembered her, and said that she was more for beginnger. Is this one of those cases that its ok to lie for the betterment of the group?

Hey uni301, yeah sometimes it is okay to lie. This is kind of an awkward situation and I know you don't want to tell her how bad she is at volleyball. With telling her the chairperson said she was a beginner, she might go up to them and ask why they said that. Maybe you could encourage her to play another sport. Are there any other tryouts going on? Maybe she could sign up for one of those. Hope this helps! Xoxo
