A mod edited one of my comments because of content. After looking it over, I do agree that what I said was questionable for a website frequented by ten-year-olds. The problem is the way the mod edited it. The capitalization was made incorrect, and the flow of language was ruined. In the future, is there any you can notify me of objectionable content so I can make another comment that I edit myself? Thank you!

i've been dating this guy for about a month and he is 15 and i'm 14. we've both dated other people and hes had girls over at his house before. he wants to hangout next weekend and watch movies at his house, but i dont think my parents will let me go to a guys house even though his parents will be home. what should i do?



You won't know unless you talk to your parents rationally, girlie!

Have a chat with them about if they'd be willing to let you be at his house for a few hours.  Offer to invite him over first and work from there if they'd like you to.

MOD how come my comments never get posted? so i really wanted to know if 13 is a good age to be able to go to the mall with my friends? i have been out like this before, but when i asked my mom later in the year she said no. i guess im also asking how to decode mom.Smile

Hey girl,

We're doing our best to answer all of your questions, so if yours isn't answered right away it means we are super busy! Some girls go to the mall when they are 13, but every mom is different. Ask your mom why she's not letting you go. Is it because no parents will be there? Tell her you'll check in with her at designated times, or have a parent go to another store while you're with your friends. Is it because she doesn't know the people you'll be with? Invite them to your house beforehand so she can see who they are. If you talk to your mom calmly and don't get upset when she says what you don't want to hear, you'll be more likely to get her to say yes. Good luck!

So I am in my school's musical,and I have a lead.I am the youngest lead.So this guy is also a lead.He is really nice to me and stuff.First I thought it was because he didn't want me to feel lonely.But now its the last performance night,and I am thinking differently.He is really flirty with me.The only problem is, he has a girlfriend,who is also in the musical.He goes out of his way to make me laugh,and always stands by me,and always is talking to me,even if his girlfriend is right there.She is very controling over him,and I don't think he is happy with her.His mom and my mom are friends,and the other day our parents were talking about us,I guess.and his mom said something like I think he likes me. Why would he talk about me and not his gf?She said even his dad asked if he was sweet on me.She said its pretty obvious when his dad notices.He held my hand one day,he is always flirty.Idk what to do. Help??

Hey girl,

If he has a girlfriend, then you should probably back off, at least for now -- would you want him flirting with other girls if you two were dating? It may seem like they're unhappy to you, but it's ultimately his decision whether he wants to stay in his relationship or not. You can be there for him as a friend for now and be there for him if his relationship doesn't work out, but you shouldn't come between him and his gf, because it won't end well.
