Try looking at Walmart or Target! They have all sorts of hair accessories at great prices! As for makeup, start slow with lip gloss, eyeshadow in basic colors like gray, gold/chocolate brown, and one "special" color like lavender or navy blue. Like your mom said, don't overdo it! Wear a little bit to enhance your natural beauty and practice whenever you have free time. That way, you'll get comfy with it and know you'll be able to do your makeup for any situation!

I looove my eyes (They're hazel and turn green in the sun), but they're different sizes. Looking AT me my left eye looks smaller. I think it's because my left eyebrow is lower... . So is there any type of makeup or something that will make my eyes look even?

Hey chica, first things first... please, please don't waste your time thinking about this guy. Clearly, he's unhappy with life, so he feels the need to bring others down. He is NOT worth your time, or your tears. The less attention or reaction you give him, the more likely he is to get bored and leave you alone. You did the right thing by telling your parents. If it continues or gets worse, I'd tell a teacher or someone at school too. Don't let this jerk get to you, girly. If anything, I'd feel sorry for him. Keep your head up

JellyBeanChick: I`m no doctor, but you may want to try out some of the products in the brand AVEENO. They sell everything from lotions and make-up removers to shampoo`s. Their ingredients are very natural and won`t irritate your skin. I own quite a few of their products and they are all awesome! I couldn`t live without their body wash! It`s a must have! These products are affordable and could be purchased at your local drugstore so it is worth a try!

fullofdreams well,with gray eyes you can use many MANY shades.
If you have like a plain blah gray,a light shade of ice blue made your eyes pop,along with some mascara.
If you have silvery gray eyes,you can't go wrong with a light coat of silver glitter shadow,like the one shown in the article.
And if you have those blue-gray eyes (Or as my friend pointed out "wolf eyes") they look cool with a neatruel tone with a light-light layer of gray eyeliner with Lear or jet black mascara.
For any make up that you use,I suggest covergirl,maybelline,or,if you want to save money,Cvs.com.

Thank you GirlsLife! My eyes are blue but they are way harder choosing an eye shadow! For starters you can't use lots of various colors since a lot of the times it doesn't match! I usually wear a light tan to highlight my eyes, a pale pink to give it a more magical look, or a tan/ bronze for a natural look. (Pale blue eye shadows are okay for real fancy occasions, or if I am wearing a blue dress or shirt. White eye shadow looks like your trying to hard and just doesn't fit.) For lipgloss I usually use a bright red or a light pink. I use red if I'm feeling daring or more mature, I use pink on a normal day to again enhance the natural look. I also use a swipe or two of bronzer on my cheek bones because I feel I am kinda pale. I usually look pretty cute by the end of this process!

A really soft gray smokey eye would look gorgeous with purple eyes! Yellowy gold tones can also help make the color pop. A deep green eyeliner with plain silvery shimmer eyeshadow could be very pretty too

1. Curly hair is a little tough with bangs... you have to be really serious about styling your hair, and most often will have to straighten them. If you think you can commit to that, give it a try! Side bangs are great because they take less time to grow out

3. Try asking and agreeing to split the price of the new shoes. Or offer to do chores around the house to "pay" them off. They totally go with sport shorts (it can be a cute sporty look), but go with lots of other things too! (Another thing to tell your mom, which might help convince her!)

Girls with muscular legs should totally go for wide leg jeans, like bootcut or boyfriend styles, because they can slim legs and give a long, lean look. Shirts with a boat neck or scoop neck and fluttery cap sleeves are GREAT for athletic gals. V necks can also help call attention to a lean torso, rather than your shoulders/arms (while halter tops, for example, could make your shoulders look bigger so you should stay away from those). The most important thing is to try stuff on at the mall though - be creative, don't forget to accessorize (cardigans, skinny belts around the waist, and scarves could all add dimension to your look), and keep an open mind!

You gotta speak up and talk to him! That's the only way to grow closer to somebody, whether you like them as a friend or a crush. If you're scared to talk in person, try texting, IMing, or chatting on Facebook. If that's not possible, try to get in line next to him at lunch or stand next to him during gym so you can make small talk. Ask him a question about his interests or something he's involved in, like a sport. Even when you pass him in the hallways, a subtle smile or wave would be a great hint

Try using safe neutrals that work with every eye color - that way, you don't have to worry about them changing! I love a shimmery gold with a chocolate brown eyeliner. You could also use peachy oranges

Instead of trying to change him, try to focus on yourself and make sure you aren't swayed into behaving like this too. Sometimes people are just more out-spoken than others! As long as he isn't disrespecting you or getting involved in any dangerous/hurtful behaviors, try to embrace the fact that he speaks his mind and love the person he is

It's tough because your eyes change SO often, but try to think what color they are the most. I might say blue since they still probably look blue when they're mixed a bit with gray or green. It's possible that they look TOTALLY green/gray sometimes depending on what you're wearing or just your body, but I'd go with blue. Especially since you listed it first!

Both would look awesome with gray eyes, so you have to go with two things: 1) how you're feeling that day, and 2) if your eyes look more gray or more blue that day. If they're more blue and you're feeling dramatic, black would be so chic. But if you're feeling a little funky or fun and your eyes are more gray, go with the purple!

Well, he didn't have to say "aww" or anything! If he felt awkward or uncomfy with it, he probably wouldn't have answered at all. So this might be a good thing - and at least a sign that he's a nice guy! Try talking to him more in person. You don't have to start by telling him you like him again (it could make you feel super nervous), so instead just focus on developing your friendship in person for now. That's already a subtle hint that you're crushing on him, and he'll love it if you ask him questions about himself, his interests, etc. As you get to know him even better and get more comfy talking in person, you can flirt and tell him how you feel
