So,my dad's salary just got cut to commision only and he needs to find a new job. Firtst of all,what is commision? Second of all,what can I do to help save money?




Hey babe,

Your dad probably works in sales or real estate, right? Commission is the money you earn after a transaction, sort of a percentage of money that your dad gets paid for his work after he completes a project. It's usually used in sales or real estate, which is why I assumed that! It'll be a tough adjustment for your fam, but try not to worry too much. Just help out by keeping a positive attitude, not asking for too many material things (that awesome purse you just saw in the shop window? It can wait), and spending time with your family when you can. You don't want to dwell on it - and dad probably doesn't either, because it's a bummer. But if you give him a way to laugh and you remind him how much you love him every once in a while, you'll do a great job perking him up Smile

So i'm so mad at my friend right now and i don't think she knows why...but she's being so rude to me when i'm just not talking to her!I'm trying to avoid the drama but she just keeps leading me too it! I think its because she's only friends with the boys in my class..(the girls don't like her)and i'm hanging out with the girls so i think shes jealous...what should i do?




Hey girl,

If you're mad at your friend, you should talk to her about it. Avoiding the "drama" will only make the drama worse once it actually gets out... and it will get out, trust me. Instead of bottling it up inside, talk to her and ask if something is bothering her. If she says "no, why?", tell her she acts a little weird when you hang out with the other girls in class and you just wanted to clear the air. It's ok for you to have one group of friends while she has another group of friends, but you have to be open with each other instead of holding grudges so you can have a drama-free friendship!

I won't be designing a dress for the contest, but I do like to make things out of Duck Tape. I always use a ruler and non-stick scissors to make it easier!
