Mod mod mod! I know it's a bit early but that's why I need your help lately I've been having problems falling asleep so my doctor told me to start taking melatonin. And I have for 4 nights and for the last 2 I've been waking up in the middle of the night. Tonight I woke up at 12:50 and haven't been able to fall back asleep. I fell asleep at roughly 9:10 so that's almost 4 hours. I know this isn't enough but there's not anything I can do. I have to be up at 4:30 anyway so should I just get up now seeing as how I cant sleep. Plus ever since I started melatonin Ive had a sore throat that gets worse at night what should I do about that? Help please!!!!!!

Hey girl, unfortunately, I'm not a doctor, so I can't offer much advice. I would give your doctor a call and see if a sore throat is a normal side effect of melatonin and to see what else can be done. Try doing something relaxing before going to bed, like reading a book, and not something that will stimulate your mind, like surfing the internet.
