MOD MOD MOD!
My cousin passed away Friday night, we had his visitiation last night. It was a casual visitation and my cousin didn't want anybody to be sad during this time. His old friend Rob who I had always had a crush on showed up and he is 5 years older than me and always since I was little I had a crush on me. My cousin that was at the visitation last night told him and he came up and gave me a huge kiss on the cheek and I had a huge laughing attack and a family friend yelled at me for it and I felt so bad and found my mom and just bawled I felt so bad. She said my cousin would have thought it was funny. I apologized to our family friend for it and he said that it was all good he didn't want somebody else to get me and be even ruder about it. The problem is I keep blaming myself for being a bad person, I feel so guilty and how do I get over it?

 

Hey girl.  Sorry to hear about your cousin.  It sounds like your family is pretty close.  You shouldn't feel bad, everyone deals with death in their own way.  If your mother said your cousin would have thought it was funny, then think about what if your cousin was there?  Picture your cousin laughing about it.  It should make you feel better.  When grieving, it's important to appreciate who you still have, and I think part of the reason Rob kissed you on the cheek was to lighten up the mood a little bit and to let you know he appreciates you, because that's what your cousin would have wanted after all.  Here at GL we give your family our sympathy.  Feel better
