FYI: I'm only in the 5th grade. Okay, so there's this really nice boy in my class ( let's call him Ryan) Ryan is totally sweet and smart ( but not in that geeky way) and cute and nice\ kind and funny, I have just the tininest crush on him. Like, 1% crush. Okay so I like him!!! Maybe, all of my friends are like '' Ohmigosh, he totally likes you!!! He has a huge crush on you. Look at the way he looked at you!!!'' Um... what are some signs that somebody likes you...

For prom we basically have our group figured out, and it's already a big group. We all decided not to let anyone else in so it doesn't get too big. One of my friends invited herself in, and she would be the only single one. We don't want it to be awkward for her being the only one without a date, but we don't want to be mean and exclude her. I'm just ready for prom drama to be over. Help!
It shouldn't be awkward. Her being alone shouldn't affect anyone but herself and that's her own situation to deal with. Just let things be and focus on having a good time. Jordan S.

Ok so i like this guy and hes like one of my best guy friends...or like my only one. We sit next to each other in the 2 classes we have together and everyone says its obvious we like each other. our friends started calling us by pet names and they're making it really awkward between us...what should i do?
Talk to your friends and let them know how uncomfortable you two are. If they don't back down then make it clear that you're serious and it really makes you mad. See how things go from there. If they're good friends, they'll chill out as soon as they know they've upset you. Jordan S.

The eighth graders in my town are having their first formal Spring dance (everyone is freaking out over it). Oh, the memories . . . my friends and I made a pact to wear PJ pants, and everyonbe looked at us. I don't know whether they envied our comfort or just thought we were weird!

Or, when in doubt, hang out in the bathroom with your friends fixing makeup and crap. Always works when I don't really want to dance.
