Soooo There's This Guy That Im REALLY Into , And He Said He's Likes Me Too (Through Text) But When Im Around Him In Person , He Is Really Quiet And Shy And Will Barely Talk To Me !!! I Want To Break The Ice Between Us So We Can Talk To Each Other Like We Text Each Other ! I've Tried Starting Conversations About His Interest , But That Only Seems To Make Him More Nervous.

You could just say that you're not looking for a perfect boyfriend, just someone (insert adjectives you like such as affectionate, caring etc.). You could also try complimenting him about what you like about him. I'd say, at least for now, try to be the one that does all the talking, and he might take your lead in opening up more. <3

I have a new boyfriend (we started dating last Sunday, both freshmen) and he wants to hang out this Sunday. He wants to go on a walk.
I've been on a run with him once before we were dating, but now I'm afraid to ask my parents if I can go. My mom knows we are dating and I'm sure she will say yes, but my dad has been out of town and doesn't know yet (although I told my mom to tell him).
What do I say to my parents? I don't want them to judge me and make fun of me when I get back home.
Also, I'm not 100% sure if I like my boyfriend as more than a friend. A friend of mine told me I should date him for another week or so, and if I'm not sure if I like him by then/I have no feelings for him, I should break up with him. Good idea?

Your mom will tell your dad, so try not to freak out! Just say something like, "___ asked me to hang out tomorrow, we're just going to the park. Is that ok?" Keep calm and don't make it sound like a bigger deal than it is. They won't tease you if you don't act awkward or embarrassed about it! As for liking your BF or not, your friend is right - give it time, try to get to know him better, and relax. You don't have to decide right now if he's the one you'll marry or not! Just have fun and see where it goes. If it doesn't feel right, it's ok. But you just started dating, so you might just feel uncomfy because it's unfamiliar right now. Hang in there!

MOD MOD MOD!! Today at the library, I saw this guy that I had a thing for over the summer. So my little sister brings me to him and he smiles at me (he kinda likes me too) and I say,"Hey". My friends were there too and I usually get really nervous around so I said "hey" again and he said,"hi" and it got really quiet and awkward so I said,"Bye" and left!! I feel so awful because I feel like I could have said something else. What should I do?

Try to shake this one off and learn a lesson for next time! You know how it feels when you let the chance at a convo pass you by, so don't let it happen the next time you see him! Try to prepare a question or a compliment in advance while you're walking up to him. Ask him about the book he's looking at, or tell him you love his denim jacket. Even a simple "what's up?" could make the convo take off!

MOD MOD MOD ASAP!!!
So today since we finished testing all of our grade got to hang out outside. My bbfs said they asked out my crush for me but I didn't believe them so I sent somebody to ask him if he meant it. My bffs were joking and now my crush wants to talk to me! I was to scared to go earlier so I will talk to him in homeroom. I think he likes me but one of my friends told him I liked him and he said I know because she always stares and smiles at me its awkward. Do you think he likes me? What do you think he will say? If he caught wind of a rumor that you liked him and he DIDN'T want to deal with it, he would probably become distant, act a little awkward, and stop talking to you so much. That's kinda how most guys work! Obviously we don't know him personally so it's hard to say for SURE, but if he asked to talk to you after finding out you were interested (or at least were considering dating him), that's probably not a bad sign

I need advice... My older brother is kinda dating this girl (not quite official but he is going to her prom and she is over a lot) and he just told me something that is going to make me really uncomfortable to be around her... She is the older sister of a girl I was good friends with back in sixth grade. We hung out in a group that split by the end of the year so now we don't really talk (but still friendly). Some of the people in the group started being mean to me and the girls I hang out with now. I tried to tell my friend but she ended up hanging out with the other girls instead of us. Just so you know we are in eighth grade now and are all friendly now (even if not close). So my brother told me that his "girlfriend" told him that I don't hang out with her sister because I don't like her friends. Now I feel really weird like she doesn't like me or something because of the way he told me. I feel like she thinks that I am mean and judgemental. Please help!

Hey girlie,

Don't feel weird! Be confident and friendly toward her so you give off the right impression. You can't judge her based on what you know about her sister - and she won't judge you based on something that happened years ago either. All you can do is get to know her NOW and be yourself! <3 You don't have to be friends with everyone, and sometimes people don't get along. Plus, she probably knows how her sister acts - if her sis/her sis' friends are mean at school, she probably knows it. So try not to freak out and definitely don't act awkward around her. Just take a deep breath, be yourself, and accept her! She'll be relieved you're making an effort and won't let anything she's heard about you affect how she treats ya.
