1st, I think they did it to be funny, by COME ON! How can you make something like this and NOT expect negative feedback!
2nd, I think their is a certain degree of meanness that can fall under the 'taste of their own medicine' catagory, but if it becomes flat out bullying, then it's gone too far. If they don't have thick-enough skin to bounce off an anonymous comment from Youtube, then they shouldn't be acting mean at all! Don't dish it if you can't take it!
3rd, yes, in case you are wondering, I have posted a mean comment on 'Friday' by Rebecca Black. Again, anonymous post that COMES WITH THE TERRITORY! You can't be in any form of show-business without expecting bad comments. No I'm not a mean girl, but I've been stung and will swat at the bee.

These are the types of girls that make others pissed because they think their better due to their appearances. I go to an arts school for SINGING and ACTING and MUSIC but would not be called "hot." I would never post such a conceited song like this one. We should judge on how one is and what they can do. NOT how they were made.
Would it make sense that someone would write a horrible song like this one and post it but not mean i as its written. Something I know about songwriting is that you can't write what you don't believe, it always comes from something inside you. Let me tell you, their insides, are just plain rude.

If you ACTUALLY watch the interview they were in,they both said they didn't think they were hot & the whole song was just something for them & their friends to laugh at.

Being mean to someone who is mean isnt the best first option but sometimes you have to give them some of their own medicine. my mom kind of put it like that when I was being picked on by another girl. I hate that two wrongs dont make it right so sometimes not being mean is better. Some of the things being said about those two are very mean and inappropriate but that is how we are to each other at times.

i heard this song a week ago when someone emailed it to me. They just did it as a joke. The girls don't even have a date for prom.

They must have big egos to post this on YouTube!!!!!!!!! It is kinda snotty and stuff. Btw they don't have great voices.
Though I wouldn't call them any names.. They are kinda pretty.

Well, here's my take on it: it would be semi-legit if it was a song against stereotypes, with lyrics along the lines of "just because I'm blonde has to mean that I'm dumb," but it's not. At the end, they say "Just kidding! We're perfect." Um, reality check. Your voice isn't so hot, you have the time to make stupid, degrading videos, and now the world thinks you're pretty awful.
As for can you be mean to a mean girl, yes. IF, they are personally hurting you on more than one occasion, or if they are being mean to someone who a) can't defend themselves or b) is someone you are close to. I would tell off a mean girl if she insulted me all the time!

1. mean girls are like mushrooms, cut them down and they come back worse, so stand up for yourself but dont be MEAN
2. they need a reality check, theyre pretty but the way they act totally overrides that
3. their social life probably took a huuuuuge blow from this, now they probably have REAL problems
by cookiemonster15 on 4/25/2012 9:19:02 PM
Here's my philosophy.
1)They hit you, it's okay to hit 'em back. If they are being personally mean to you or someone you love, it is perfectly fair to get up in their face and be mean to them.
2) If it's someone who is much more physically or emotionally stronger than the person they are picking on, then it's okay to step in. (That whole 'stomp out bullying' thing.)
Otherwise, if they're not doing anything to REALLY hurt anyone - like these girls aren't - then why does it matter? Why should we care if they want to spend their free time making stupid music videos about how they're better than everyone else? It's their lives.

This video is kind of telling everyone who doesn't know them, that they are self-absorbed and snooty. But, I sure don't give a crap... They don't seem like wanna-be-porn-stars. They just seem like girls who made a really weird video.
