I celebrated Cinco de Mayo by having a party with my family.

We celebrated this in Spanish class today. Two important facts about Cinco De Mayo:
1. America celebrates this day much more than Mexico, and the reason is fact #2
2. Cinco De Mayo is not Mexico Independence day, which is why it's not celebrated as much in Mexico.
Also, they lost the war overall, but still won the battle, which was pretty amazing in and of itself since they were so small.
