My crush likes to tease me, but in a joking manner. All of his friends say he likes me, but I kept thinking,"Well, if he likes me he would've already asked me out." I really like him and all my friends thinks he likes me, but I'm not so sure. When we talk in a group and he talks, he only looks at me and kind of ignores everyone else. He also likes to look at me in the eye. Are those signs he likes me?

 

Hey! It sounds to me like you really like this guy Smile congrats, it can be fun to have a crush. The best way to deal with this is to be his friend and see if something more happens naturally. I have seen so many girls get hurt and ruin friendships because they "had to know" if someone liked them, and they asked the guy about it and made the whole situation awkward. I even did that myself when I was younger. It's better to have a secret crush on your friend than to have a public crush on your ex-friend. good luck!

There is a girl in one of my classes who always follows me around. I don't want to be mean, so I do talk to her, but she is extremely rude. She interrupts everything I say, she always complains, and constantly talks bad about her family and friends. I don't want to completely ignore her, because I'm no better than she is, but it's like she has no manners. Help!




Hey girl,

If she's not treating you with respect, PLUS she's following you around and bugging you even though you're not returning her attention, it's time to stand up for yourself and tell her to back off. I know it might feel intimidating, but she's being negative and that negative vibe can bring down your mood too! The next time she interrupts you, be firm and say, "Can you let me finish?" The next time she's complaining or talking behind people's backs, try to get yourself out of the situation by nodding, saying a few words, and walking away. Like you said, you don't want to completely ignore her because then you'd be as rude as she is, but you DON'T have to put up with this just because you feel bad!

I didnt get my issue of GL on my nook when i updated my subscription last month. it usually comes on instantly so im really confused please reply asap

The mods don't have the details about individual subscriptions, so have a parent/guardian contact subscription customer service (https://secure.girlslife.com/Contact.aspx) to get this sorted out! It might also help to call Barnes and Noble/Nook customer service, since they're the ones who would probably send the digital copy to your Nook.
