Hey anikadandekar, let them know you don't want anymore of their suggestions, and when they say stuff like "do you want to look bad?", reply with "I want to look the way I want to look not the way you want me to". You could also try ignoring them and changing the subject when they start commenting on your outfits. And give them tips on their ensembles every once in while so they can see how it feels. okay this is my sitch- my so my so-called "friends"
always tell me what i should change about my clothes. For example, say i wear my shirt tucked into my skirt one day they'll say "Untuck ur shirt it doesnt look good" they always pretend like their trying to give a friendly suggestion but their actually hurting my feelings. And i have tried to tell them "thanks for the suggestion but i like it this way" but then they keep on saying stuff like "it looks bad, do you want to look bad?" I'm in a similiar situation, except I made the new friend. I met her online, and I consider her my best friend. I get along with her way better than my school friends, and yes I talk about her to them. Does she act the same around you, except for mentioning her friend? If so, I don't see the problem.

okay so i have a friend,lets call her penny, who is a decent friend to me but it always seems like im always trying to prove to her that im good enough, but when she is around her friends she seems to become the one reaching for the other girls approval. I wasnt invited to one of my friends birthday party, but penny was. Penny keeps messaging me on facebook rubbing it in my face. the day before i was joking and told penny on fb that the girl who didnt invite me hated me. the day of the party penny started messaging me, and im positive that she showed the girl hosting the party my message. Today I messaged her and said "you showed Livie the message i sent you a couple days ago, right?" after about 15 minutes of convo, she never answered after this. What is going on?

I feel ya-thongs are definitely necessary to avoid panty lines. Bringing up thongs with your mom can be awk, but you need to talk to her about it. She might be a little surprised (no mom wants their daughter to grow up too quick), but she'll listen. Bring it up by saying you need to go underwear shopping. Mention you want a thong and tell her the real reason why: to prevent panty lines. She should understand.

Please help me. My friends father went to rehab recently and she has to move far away to live with her mom now and leave me. I really don't want to tell my parents about this because she is very upset about it and embarassed but it seems like something I have to do. I'm afraid my parents won't let me hang out with her anymore and am thinking about not telling them. Is this an okay desicion? Please help me I'm really confused.

I'm in fifth grade and I have a crush on this guy. I've known him since first grade. We have inside jokes and give each other looks instead of words during class. I was so sure I was in love until the new girl came along.
During recess, I told her I liked him. She ran up to my guy friend, and told him, who told my crush.
After recess, a bunch of guy friends were prodding me for information and asking me if I like him. "No way!" I would reply. Maybe I hurt his feelings. Or something else.
Heand I are going to the same middle school, so I have another chance.
I really like him and just want to be friends again. What do I do? How can I get him to notice me again?

It's not your fault that the other girl blabbed, I'm so sorry that happened! If you want to tell him the truth, that might be the best option, but you can tell him you want to be friends again and that you didn't mean for things to get as awkward as they did. He'll understand that it's not your fault! If you're at the same school next year, you'll have plenty of time to be friends again, and I'm sure that after the summer, he'll forget all about what happened

I have 3 questions. First, i have a bit of lower tummy fat, what are some good exercises to help get rid of it? Next, this weekend I'm having a luau party and some of my classmates and my boyfriend are coming and it's going to be outside, but it's supposed to be hot. How should I do my hair? because when i put it in a ponytail shorter strands stick out after i run around for awhile. Third, I'm going to be playing volleyball if I make the team but since we'll have to wear spandex im going to have to learn how to put a tampon in. especially for this summer and swimming. how do you do that?
