No one should be suspended for standing up to bully and making a video like that

I can't believe this girl got suspended for doing her project. I really hope she got an A on this project because it was a great way to stand up against bullying. I can't believe a mom thought this was real. She stated that it was fake all over the place. I'm glad that the school ended up taking it off her permanent record and all that, but it wasn't necessary for all of that to be done in the first place.

What the fizz happened to freedom of speech and standing up for what you believe in?
by MaxRide15 on 6/20/2012 2:22:38 PM
Five days of suspension? Really? She was trying to send out an important message to everyone and she gets punished? I don't get how that makes sense at her school. She even said that the video was fake and on the Facebook profile she said it was fake. So why did she get in trouble? It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

You know, I understand that some people rreak out when stuff like this happens and someone posts I wanna be dead on facebook, but SERIOUSLY?! SERIOUSLY?! THIS GIRL IS SPEAKING UP FOR THE PEOPLE WHO NEED HER! WHO NEED HELP! She's just trying to help the school and you SUSPEND her for it? Gosh, people! HOW STUPID CAN AMERICA BE?! They put us in these stupid anti-bullying seminars that are boring as HECK and then one girl responds to it and they PUNISH HER?! GOD WHAT IS WITH YOU!?!

Uh wow..... First off: Speaking out against bullying gets you suspended? That doesn't sound right. They tell us to express our emotions and stand up to bullying, which was exactly what she was doing. And another thing: It just seems to me the principal didn't care at all abt. his or her students, because if they actually did, then they would get her some help, not banish her away. Carrie R.
