Okay so on one of the last days of school, some of my classmates who I considered my friends were being really mean to this kid in our class. I felt so bad because the kid didn't realize that he was even being picked on! I don't know what to think now... should I be friends with those mean kids or not? It kinda ruined the end of the year.

Hey girl,

It's up to you.  You can always be friends with them and stand up for the kid, everyone shows a bit of their unkind side every now and then.  Who knows, maybe you'll even help them realize that they can come off as heartless doing things like that.  Or, you can end the friendship, your decision.
