I have hair on my upper lip thats kinda noticeable. I can't wax it, but I was wondering if I used an electric trimmer (its a size of a pen and has attachments that goes over the top)is there a good chance that it would come back thicker and/or black? thanks!




Hey girl,

No, it wouldn't generally come back with any changes if you used a trimmer, that would only be with shaving.

Mod Mod Mod! I just started my volleyball conditioning (ugh!). So when ever I get back I am really really really sore. I tried to do my homework and my hand started shaking because I was in so much pain. What can I do to relieve this? Also I have been having muscle spasms in my chest (I get these often) and my mom thinks I am faking to get out of school but I am not! How can I convince her? Thx!




Hey chica, there are a few things you can do to relieve muscle soreness. First, make sure you're gettin' enough rest so your muscles can repair themselves. Also, stay hydrated and eat a nutritious diet so that your bod is in top condition to take on this new exercise. If you're still feelin' achy afterwards, try massaging your muscles or soaking them in hot water. Frequent stretch breaks are also a good idea. As for the muscle spasms, that's something you need to talk to your doc about. Maybe suggest that your mom make you a doctor's appointment after school, so she knows that it's not just an excuse. Be serious and honest when you talk to her about it, and tell her that you're really worried.
