ok so there is this girl who i am not firends with, but ik people who are,and ik of her.and to be hones im kinda jealous of her.because she has the perfect hair,smile,face,is a varsity cheerleader, she is super fit and skinny,and most of all....she has the sweetest best bf i think EVERR! i dont hate her at all.but its just sometimes i wish i had that,cause i dnt have a bf,or am tht skinny,or a cheerleader.i dnt have a bad life,or hate my life,its just i wish i had that,and i dnt and it kinda make me feel wierd,is it normal to be like that?

 

hey! There are a lot of different ways to be happy with yourself, and everyone has to find the way that's best for them. One of the ways to ruin your happiness is to compare yourself to other people. If you had never met this girl, or anyone like her, you might not have thought that you should be more like her. So the best way to deal with this is to stop making comparisons, because even if you had everything she had, you still would be you. It's very normal to compare yourself with others, but it doesn't always make you feel great. So my advice is to cultivate your interests, the things that make you happy, and share them with others, because that is one of the best ways to love yourself for who you are

I think you should be honest with him and tell him you enjoy having him as a friend, but you're not interested in dating him. It might hurt him at first, but later on he'll probably appreciate the honesty. It will also save you from further uncomfortable situations. Good luck!

Since he has a girlfriend, there really isn't anything you can do. He could just have a flirty personality, but that's between him and his girlfriend. It's always possible that he's crushing on you, but unless he breaks up with his girlfriend, it wouldn't be right for you to pursue anything.
