Love this trend! Patterned denim shorts are totally in, and so indie! I love wearing my patterned shorts with jean tops or just plain tanks. Adding a necklace to whatever shirt your wearing makes the plain shirt stand out.

i am going to a family reunion soon. i am going to a party at someones house that is on the beach and the next day i am going to church. it is suppose to be hot. what should i wear? what should i do with my hair? thanks!

 

Hey cutie!

Since you're going to the beach house, you'll most likely be chillin' in the sand. You can wear flip flops but you'll probably end up kicking 'em off. If the party is in the evening, it should cool down some. If not, try putting your hair up in a cute pony or even try one of our braid ideas on the style page of our site. This will keep the hair out of your face and definitely keep ya cool. As for your clothes, wear something "beachy". By this I mean opt for the flowy, cool shirt instead of the snug tight tube top. You'll look like a goddess with your hair and clothes gently blowing in the wind! A cute sundress would be perf too! Just try to avoid the tight jean shorts...those will definitely not be too comfy in the sand!
