Love this trend! Patterned denim shorts are totally in, and so indie! I love wearing my patterned shorts with jean tops or just plain tanks. Adding a necklace to whatever shirt your wearing makes the plain shirt stand out.

i am going to a family reunion soon. i am going to a party at someones house that is on the beach and the next day i am going to church. it is suppose to be hot. what should i wear? what should i do with my hair? thanks!

 

Hey cutie!

Since you're going to the beach house, you'll most likely be chillin' in the sand. You can wear flip flops but you'll probably end up kicking 'em off. If the party is in the evening, it should cool down some. If not, try putting your hair up in a cute pony or even try one of our braid ideas on the style page of our site. This will keep the hair out of your face and definitely keep ya cool. As for your clothes, wear something "beachy". By this I mean opt for the flowy, cool shirt instead of the snug tight tube top. You'll look like a goddess with your hair and clothes gently blowing in the wind! A cute sundress would be perf too! Just try to avoid the tight jean shorts...those will definitely not be too comfy in the sand!

It should be safe, but I would ask a doc about the kind you're planning to use just in case! And it's normal to sweat on all parts of your body, so don't worry!

Hey girl! I wouldn't put deodorant there, it's really meant for your underarms. Head to your local drugstore and grab some body antiperspirant spray. If your problem doesn't stop see a doctor.

And as for shaving, practice makes perfect. The more you do it, the less of a chance there is that you'll cut yourself. Make sure you use lots of shaving cream, a razor with a moisturizing strip, and be sure to go really slow. If you have to spend a few extra minutes in the shower so you shave more carefully, that's totally cool!

My best friend is in love with this girl whose emotionally hurt her in the past... And keeps doing it. I've tried to reason with my best friend but she's blinded by love. I've pretty much come to terms that I've done what I can as the best friend, yet I know I will find it hard to hang out civilly with this girl for the sake of my best friend. It's really great that you care SO much about your BFF that you're concerned about this, but the truth is... sometimes our friends have to make their own mistakes. I know it's soo hard to just sit back and watch your best friend open up to this "bad" girl again, only to get hurt AGAIN, but she has to go through this so she can learn better. That's funny with the jean shirt and lace skirt because on another article the top and bottom material were switched! (white lace top, jean shorts.) very original, love the outfits!

That's the perf start to a great summer outfit! I would probably choose a peachy colored shirt, since I'm totally into peach/coral colors this summer. I have a sheer peach tank with a ruffle down the front that I wear over a plain white tank top... it always looks so beachy and girly Smile Pair that with simple natural makeup - some concealer if you need it, a light line of eyeliner smudged to look subtle, and a coral lipgloss.

I'm in summer gym and it's really hot! Wearing a t-shirt and athletic shorts kills even! I want to wear a sports bra and a thin shirt (like the side shoulder ones) but my mom won't get me a sports bra because and this I quote, "You don't have any boobs." I mean I am like a 34-B so not big at allll....but I want a sports bra instead of the underwire ones (I have) because they cover more and are more comfortable for gym class. Do you have any ideas on how to ask her? Also do you have any outfit ideas for gym to keep cool (I don't want to look trashy)? Thanks soooo much!!!!

Hey girlie,

Try putting up the money for the sports bra and telling your mom that you know your boobs aren't technically big, but a 34B is still enough to need support while you're working out at gym class. I would wear a pair of loose mesh shorts with a sports bra and tank top or loose tee shirt. You don't want clothes that are too tight or too heavy, but you do want coverage so you can stay comfy! Smile

This is an emergency!!!! Yesterday I was at this school with my friends playing AT the schools park, we were jumping off of this rock/wall and i did a toe touch and landed badly and i had high heel slippers and now it still hurts, and swollen!! im in Europe *poor part* and they dont have med. for me, what can i do?!?!?! It hurts so much!!!!!!!!! Please Help!!!!!!!!!!!!! Answer ASAP!!!!!!!!!

I'm not a doctor so I don't really know what's wrong with your foot. Have you been to a hospital? A swollen foot would probably not require medicine-- probably a cast or brace. The hospitals near you are probably equipped to handle this.
