*sigh* im so bored. its summer vacay and everyone i know has plans except me. ive been sitin around at home with the fam for two weeks straight. its SO boring! i cant go to the beach cause i have no one to go with, i cant go to the carnival cause its 30$ plus im not aloud cause theres always a lot of fights there, i cant go to the pool OR shopping cause again- i have no one to go with and i cant go to a besties house cause i have none anymore cause we had a huge fight plus one of them is in ontario. im such a loser. what can i do for fun?

 

Hey girlie!  Sorry about your fight with your bestie- you can always try and make up with her!  You could also try mastering a new skill, like jewelry making, sewing, or drawing!  On a weekend, ask your mom to take you to the craft store and the library and stock up on stuff for your new hobby and lots of How-To books.  You might find out you've got serious skills!  xoxo

I'm going to NYC in Aug. and I have no idea what to pack! Please help!




Hey chicky, NYC is a super-stylish place. So if ya wanna look like a local, you'll wanna bring your trendiest stuff. But on the other hand, if you're gonna be walking a lot and touring around with your fam, you wanna be comfy. So maybe compromise with some cute skirts that you can wear with comfy flip flops, or short shorts that you can pair with sneakers. The most important thing is that you have a good time, so you don't want your feet to be hurting or your clothes to be uncomfortable. Lookin' stylish is not worth the pain, trust me.

im gonna go to the beach a lot and i havent found any bathing suits that i feel covered in. i hate one pieces too. and i already tried target, kohls, and jcpennys. are there any bathing suits that are less revealing, and btw im only talking about up top. thx so much! Smile

 

Hey girlie!  Try bandeau tops, they go all the way across the top to cover your chest more than triangle bikinis!  Also, tankinis aren't one piece, but they keep you covered.  Look online for bathing suits that have a good return policy, LL Bean usually has some more conservative bathing suits for girls like you!  Good luck!

I'm going on vacation tomorrow and I got my period so I have really bad cramps. Do you know any ways to stop them. I also need some help figureing out how to pack and what would work for me. I have fair skin and I do NOT want to get tan. My styles is like dresses, scarfs and the 40s and movie star related stuff. I do not like neons when I do that. I'm going to Mississippi from Illinois. I also am a bit boho chic. Please help. (sorry for asking for so much)
Ps Im gonna be away from my bf and won't be able to text him till 1am like I normally do. How should we stay in touch for 2 weeks.




Hey girl!

You can take medicine such as Tylenol, Advil, or Motrin to stop your cramps, as well as Midol--which is specifically for menstrual cramps. Since you don't want to get tan, you should totally rock some adorable hats to keep your face in the shade! You should wear lots of dresses and breezy skirts--perfect for keeping cool and cute. Can you two Skype or talk on Facebook? Those would be good ways to stay in touch.
