Mod Mod Mod!!!
My old doctor moved away so I have to get a new one. I have a check up in a month with my new doctor who I've never met and I'm really nervous!!! Help!!!

 

Hey girl!

Don't worry about the new doc. Bring a parent so you're not alone and don't feel as nervous. But, there's really no need to be nervous--you may even like this doctor more than your old one! Doctors just want to help, and they're usually all pretty friendly. If you end up not liking your new doctor, you can easily find another one!

Mod mod mod mod mod mod mod mod:I go to my mom's friends house, and sometimes her stepson is there. I like him so much, I litteraly say absolutely nothing (unless I'm asked a question)! I'm also kinda shy around the rest of his family too... HELP? How do I start up a good condo?




Hey girl!

When you're asked a question, use that as your opening to join the conversation and be more talkative. You can ask other people questions too, ya know! Just gradually try and talk a little more each time you're there and I'm sure your shyness will ease up.

MOD Ok so there's this guy I was texting for a while, and I liked him, but I don't really anymore. The problem is that he texts me and fb chats me all the time!!! The texting I can avoid, but how can I get him to stop facebook chatting me? He's nice but I don't like him like him like that.

 

 

Hey girly! There's a way you can stop people from being able to see you on Facebook. If you're looking at your Facebook chat list, click on the little settings wheel. A box will pop up, and in it, you can type in the same of anyone who you don't want to see you online.

MOD MOD MOD!!!
I have a really bad decision making problem. Like just this weekend I was deciding on which sunglasses to buy. To buy both was just too much, so I was deciding between blue and white color. I asked my friend, and she said it was up to me, so I asked her again, because Icouldn't decide. I'm afraid that if I continue this, I'm going to annoy my friends and they would not want to hang out with me at the mall in the future. Also, I really want to make decisions by myself instead of consulting someone else. It's also better for me and other people too. Any advice?

 

Hey girl, I'm the exact same way actually. My friends just laugh it off, then I realize what I'm doing. Because indecisive isn't a bad thing, it just takes practice. You just have to think a minute who are the sunglasses really for? You! So when you try them on, ask your friend which one she thinks looks better on you, not which one she thinks you should buy. It's all about subtle wording differences. Its completely fine to ask someone for advice or what they think of something, just try and avoid asking them what they think you should do unless its advice giving in a problem situation if that makes sense. That's how I got better, and it really works!

Mod Mod Mod I hardly talk to or even know the names of half the people in my grade. Sure they talk to me or I talk to them every once in a while but I would really like to get to know them more and get to hang out with them. Any ideas how I can start to slowly do this when school starts? Thanks Mod you guys are always helpful and always there for advice!

 

I think you should get to know your fellow classmates by talking to them during classes. Getting to know your neighbors or the people who sit near you is a good way to make friends. Then once you know them better you can hang out outside of class. xoxo kerra

Kids always ask me to do things that their moms said they couldn't do, and I always handle it by either distracting them with something else or giving them something similar to make them think I'm giving in when I'm really still following their mom's directions.
