My new boyfriend is moving kinda fast. :/ We've only been dating for a few days and he's already dropped the L bomb. He's amazing though, he wished me the sweetest goodnight paragraph and if I text him to ask what he's doing he always says "Just talking to my favorite girl," he really is amazing, but he got kind of sad when I said I'll love him soon, but not yet. I really hate making him feel bad, and I feel like he's too good for me. Any advice?

Hey girl,

If you want your relationship to work, you have to be honest with him! Tell him you care about him but that you're not ready to commit to love yet and that you'd like to take things slower, even though you do like him. You need to be on the same page!

Hey babe, the best thing you can do on the first day is smile. Try to look friendly and open, and hopefully other people will make the first move. If they don't, though, don't be afraid to strike up a convo by introducing yourself or asking questions about the school. Not sure where a classroom is or how to open your locker? Ask the person next to you, and let that lead into a convo. Good luck, girl!

So, you know how my mom was gonna make me wait till I was 16 to date, but then changed her mind? Yeah, well she changed her mind again. She's gonna make me wait. About an hour ago, I asked my mom about going to Olive Garden with him, and his best friend Jared and his GF Marrlie, but my mon said no. She thinks I'm too young. I tried to stay really calm and talk it all out with her, but I was so frustrated, I just blew up. She got really mad and grounded me me for two weeks, and then said that if I tried to change her mind, I would have to wait till I was 18. I've been sitting in my room crying, and I don't know what to do. I've liked him for over a month, an he likes me, too. So why can't we just go out? Why do I have to wait? I don't understand. How can I explain everything to Andy? He's has no idea that he was an exception to my rules, so I just don't know what to tell him. Please help me! )':

Hey cutie!

Since your mom is so adamant about you not dating, explain to her how much you like your new boy and ask her what her suggestions are for how you two can hang out if you can't date. Despite your frustration, stay as calm as you can. Maybe suggest throwing a summer party with a few friends so that you can hang out with him. Throw on a movie and maybe you can cuddle up with him while watching. There are ways to get around not being allowed to date. Have awesome hangouts/parties with friends and you two can always get some great one on one time somewhere.

Thanks SO much! I just got back from my first date. I took your advice and wore this super cute black summer dress I got last month, sandals, and my hair won't hold a curl, so I just left it straight. So the movie was pretty creepy, and Andy (my new BF), during a super scary part, wrapped his arms around me (right after I screamed,) leaned towards me, and whispered "I'll protect you," then kissed my forehead. It was so sweat! I'm so glad my mom is letting me date. I'm not ready to actually kiss yet, and Andy knows that, so when they dropped me off, he walked me to the door, hugged me, and kissed me cheek. He is so cute. I don't know how I got so lucky. Thanks again, Lauren! I really appreciate it! Laughing

Clubs are for people who have common interests, and you join them on our club page! http://www.girlslife.com/clubs.aspx As for your skin questions, you should work on healing your acne before using a product to even your skin tone. If you've tried OTC products and still have issues, talk to your doc or a dermatologist about getting a prescription to help ya out.
