MOD MOD!
I just moved. I'm going to be going to a new school. Like others, I need a cool outfit. My facts:
I'm 5'3 and 11. I'll be 12.
I'm like a ruler bit with thicker thighs because I do soccer.
I've been described as a hipster-styled girl.
I'll be in 7th grade
I want something to show that I'm different than any other newbie. And that I have great style.I have a smaller bust: 32A
So, help?

I suggest you look at Urban Outfitters. It's a bit more expensive but they have some really unique clothing that might be perfect for you. Good luck! xoxo kerra

im pretty slim, my family has big bones so im a little bulkier but NOT fat, i watch my calories and run, etc. but my thighs are HUGE! my mom says they're not that bad but im just really self-concious so is there a way to lose weight in your thighs?? ive been wearing jeans all summer i dont know what to do! will people make fun of me if i wear shorts?? plz help




Hey girl!

It seems like your thighs are probably not as bad as you're making them out to be. Running is great for your thighs. Also, you should do lunges or squats. But the best thing you can do is to eat healthy and not worry!

Ok, so I just moved, going to a brand new school with brand new people an no uniform! Smile I want it find the perfect outfit for me that's super cute and makes a great first impression (but I deffinetly don't want the outfit to say "I'm trying to hard, or I think I'm better than you") Is that crazy? As for my fashion and style goes toward just about anything.
I'm a tall girl going into the eight grade. I guess you could say I was curvy? My top is bigger (32B) and I have a small waist. My thighs are a little thicker (since I'm a runner). I'm just looking for a great outfit for my bod.

Hey girl!  A new school is the perfect start for a cool new wardrobe.  For a fun outfit, I would suggest colored skinny jeans with a silky top, a def a belt to emphasize your waist and some cute sandals. Have fun and be yourself with your style! xxoo

@candyprincess97: they do put stuff for curvy girls, almost all the time. they have it on this one too. in the june/july issue they had a section for swimsuits for curvy girls. Maybe you just haven't seen their articles or how-to's for curvy girls.

What about for girls that are more than pears like kinda on the pudgy side? I love wearing shorts but cant find any besides my skorts and basketball shorts that look good on me. Please help Im not good with fashion.

i'm a cross between a pear and a petite(i'm skinny but i have curves) what kinda shorts should i get. also, my current shirts give me absolutely NO shape. they stretch over my curves, leaving me to look awkward and bigger waisted than i actually am!!! how do i fix this?!?? thanks Laughing

 

hey! try a wrap shirt with rouching to accentuate your waist. You could really pull off a basic short or something with a little color Smile

My mom doesnt let me wear shorties. NEVER. I have tried everything and i look amazing in them but my mom just wont let me. I really want to. I really do. Help please!! I live in FL and im the only one melting in my jeans Frown(((((




Hey girlie,

Have you talked to her and asked her why? If it's just the fact that you're showing too much skin, could you compromise on getting Bermuda shorts instead of short shorts? If not, you'll have to respect mom's decision and then work around it. Pair skinny jeans with open sandals and a colorful floral tank top. That way, you're showing a little skin and still dressing summery...while also working with mom's rules <3
