all of my basketball teamates did a basketball camp and speed and agility things this summer ....except me so im scared when basketball comes around im gonna be out of shape and not as good as my team mates....im embarassed to practice on my basketball hoop or go out for runs because i hate it when people see me because it makes me anxious....idk what to do to make me better




Hey girlie,

Don't be scared! Just because you didn't go to basketball camp doesn't mean you can't keep up with them and stay on your game. But you have to do work to stay in shape - you can't stop practicing just because you're embarrassed! You gotta get out there and practice shooting, dribbling, sprinting, and jogging for endurance. Since they went to camp, you have a little bit of time to make up and you're gonna have to work hard. Try talking to your coach and asking for some exercises to do so you can stay on their level. You have to commit to it though. If basketball is important to you, you'll put aside that embarrassment and work hard! And then you won't have anything to be scared about <3

Excuse me gigglez77, but let's so you make a killer dunk! I wouldn't go criticizing LeBron because of he can make the Olympic team, he's pretty dang fantastic! He probably has more talent in the tip of his finger than you have in your body! Not to be rude or anything but still!! And HEAT ALL THE WAY!!! :p
