I always drink water anyways

by purpleprincess60 on 6/14/2013 7:32:02 PM

How can I get used to drinking so much water? I know I'm dehydrated, and I really want to fix that, but I have to go pee A LOT when I drink so much water. Is there a way I can get used to the habit?
Also, I really want to get more flexible. I want to learn how to do the splits and touch my toes with out bending my legs. Are there any good stretches for that?
Finally, I have a bigish stomach that is mostly muscle with a thin layer of fat. I know during the school year I will exercise enough, but are there ways to make the muscle thiner and less bulky?
Thanks!!! <3 Sorry for so many questions.

Hey chica! Muscle tends to come in one size, so unless you're willing to lose muscle (and why would you want to do that?) then you're stuck with the muscle size you have.  As for drinking water- your body will get used to you drinking more water the more time you spend hydrating yourself enough.  You can also try drinking less water, but more often (instead of chugging a water bottle every 2 hours, drink about a quarter of it every half hour). And to get more flexible, try things like yoga or just stretching yourself in general- try to do a split, go down as far as you can without it hurting, and stay there for a few seconds, then try to go a little bit farther the next time.  Good luck! xoxo

Hey Krisskatt, it really depends on the type of hair you have. My best friend's hair is thin and tends to get very oily so she has to wash it all the time. I have thick courser hair so washing every 14 days works better for me. Try a couple different routines for at least a month and see which fits you best. Hope this helps! Xoxo

I was wondering how often I should wash my hair cause I like 2 shower every day. I read somewhere it's important 2 wash ur hair every day bcause the oils in ur hair give u acne, and I hate pinning ur hair back. My sis said it's not good 2 wash ur hair every day. Wat do u think?

I'm staying hydrated by drinking lots of water. Whenever I'm outside, I carry a water bottle with me.

What does BIC prize pack mean?? I saw 2 girlies say that, what is it?? I'm confused! :S Frown

This is kinda embarrassing but i have had my period for about 5-6 months and I am very irregular. I will get my period real light for a week and get it again like that in two weeks. Is this normal? Thanks
Xoxo Smile

Hey girlie,

Not embarrassing at all! The truth is, this is TOTALLY normal. I know, periods are already tough to deal with... and then they have to get all irregular too?! But don't sweat it Smile Especially in your first year, it's completely normal to get your period after two weeks, to skip a month, to have lighter/heavier periods, and to not know exactly what day it will come. If you're worried about your period (like if you're getting it full-on every two weeks), feel free to call your doc just to make sure everything is healthy. But otherwise, I wouldn't worry about it! Spotting and irregular periods are totally normal right now Smile

Tomorrow me, my brother, and our best friends are going to a big water park. We were going to go a week ago but my friend got sick so we reschedule ! Now I have a cold!! I'm afraid I'll get sicker tomorrow and we won't be able to go and this is our last chance to go! Do you have any tips for me to get better? I'm staying home all day so I'm getting plenty of rest. . I'm of also drinking lots of water and eating lots of fruit and feel better then I did this morning. Thank You!

Hey girl!

It's definitely smart to keep drinking lots of fluids, and get plenty of rest. Also make sure to take medicine - it will not only help you feel better now, it will help you recover quickly. Tomorrow, make sure you take medicine with you, and bring clothes to change out of right away when you're done, so you don't stay in a wet suit for longer than you have to. I hope you feel better soon!

I want to have a London Paris a Rome themed room how can I do this?

Hey Girl--

That sounds so cute! For London, maybe you could buy an art deco British flag. For the Paris look, try lots of lace and pinks. and for rome, Maybe a poster of a colosseum? You could also try decorating your room with postcards from your 3 locations.

best of luck!

I'm very confused. So on my Mums side she was a very late bloomer and she was only 5 feet when she was a freshman in high school ,and she got her period when she was 16. On my fathers side he was 6'2 in the 5th grade. I am tall for my age and I don't know what side I might take after!!!! PLEASE HELP ASAP!!!!!!!

Hey girlie! You might be a combination of the two (most people are).  Don't worry about it, I know you want to know when you might get your period, but it is different for every person, no matter when their mothers started getting their period.  xoxo

I have curly hair & I wanted to know if there are any straightening serums you would recommend instead of a straightening iron. Also, do straightening serums last and prevent frizz in humid weather?

Hey girl! To my knowledge, straightening serums help to protect your hair for when you use a flat iron or blow dryer.  They help to prevent frizz, but only if you use a tool to straighten.  xoxo

My friend is really mad at me and IDK why. She won't tell me. And she isn't responding to my emails or anything. I don't know what to do! I REALLY want to keep being her friend. This summer we became really good friends. And I feel bad, but she isn't letting me apologize. She got mad at me yesterday, and yesterday something REALLY bad happened in our family, so I was already a wreck, and now she won't talk to me and it was the worst day of my life! I was crying all last night and I cried myself to sleep! Frown Please help!

Hey girlie! Try writing this girl an e-mail or a private Facebook message.  Don't apologize until you know what you're apologizing for- it'll seem insincere.  I'm sorry about your family troubles, mixed with friend troubles, they can seem unbearable.  Let her know that your friendship is important, but you could really use a friend because of the other stuff going on.  xoxo

This might be a really stupid question, but I have always wondered...
When it says 8 cups of water, does it mean cups as in the measurement, or cups as in, like...just normal glasses of water?

Hey girl! I think it means cups as in the measurement. xxoo
