Latelly ive been feeling really tired and i don't know why - i just cant stop yawning in class, particularly in the morning. I go to bed at 11 most nights and i have to get up at quarter to 7. Also, i find it hard to concentrate sometimes when someone is talking to me and stuff. What should i do? Frown Please help me!

 

 

Hey girly, this is a problem. Why don't you try getting to bed earlier. Catching 9 hours of sleep instead of 8 might do the trick. Also for paying attention, make sure you eat a good breakfast in the morning.

Hey girl, sorry your book is missing. Stop what your doing and calmly think for a minute, where did you leave it last. IF that does'nt work, make sure to retrace your steps. Did you look in every classroom? Your parents' car? Did you leave it in a desk, at the bottom of your locker or at a friend's house? After you've looked absolutely everywhere and it's still not found; don't freak. Buy yourself a brand new homework binder and call your friends to help you fill it with all the homework assignments your missing. In the future, it's a great idea to get a phone number and email address from at least one person in every one of your classes in case you ever miss an assignment. Plus, it might just give you a reason to talk to your crush and get his number. Good luck girl.

Hi there! I recently have begun a group helping girls raise their self esteem. A girls helping girls kind of thing. Anyways, I wanted to do presentations infront of schools. But we're just a small group right now, so we wanted to find a few smaller organizations to present infront of before we get bigger. One of our ideas are Girl Scouts, but that's all. Any ideas where we can go to do presentations? I don't think things like sport teams or such have time or care for such a thing. So I'm stuck!

I think the best thing to do here is to just talk to EVERYONE. You might get turned down by some groups (like sports groups or whatever) that don't have time, but it's worth asking. Try sports teams, volunteer groups, girl scouts, tutoring services, your own guidance counselor, church groups, etc. Get creative and reach out. You might not "win" with all of them, but you'll never know if you don't try! <3

Mod? PLease help me! There is a boy that i like, and he is so cute! And i keep thinking that he likes me, but he doesn't really pay enough attention to me to make me think he likes me. SOo today was the first day of school, and lets call him bob. So bob is in one of my clasess and i bob seems to like me, but not. Is there a way to be kinda of flirty? But not like full power on that there is a power Outage and you are mortally embaressed!He is in one of the "Popular" people and i think thats why he barely talks to me. So is there a wayt o kinda show him i'm into him, but he has to chase me? Or not chase, but to show him that i like him. Thank you! I know this is really complicated, and weird!

Hey girl, you could try sticking a bunch of cool pins into it to spice it up. Later on, you could add some sharpie doodles, but I wouldn't do that right now 'cause it would probably hurt your dad's feelings since it's brand new.

Well, in my school, you get a pizza and ice cream party if you pass 50 tests with 40 multiplication problems per test. You also get ONLY a minute for each. I am good at math, just not timing. So when me and some classmates didn't pass,we had people sign petition.people from every grade signed.And teachers! Not only did me and the others bond and become BFFs, it also worked. But just to make sure we wrote essays too. So for the new school yaer comes, I'm writing my new teacher a letter saying "Just to let you know, i am kind of difficult. like the time i started a petion over.." Mrel:Nothing is impossible.The word itself says "I'm possible!"

I'm 11 years old, and for Halloween this year I want to invite my BFF to go trick or treating together this year. The only problem is we wouldn't have any parents with us, and there was this kidnapping in the neighborhood like right next to my neighborhood a few months ago, which means there's probably going to be going, but #1. there aren't a lot of kids in my neighborhood, and #2. my parents won't be going with us. Help!!!!

 

Hey girl! If your parents are comfortable sending you out alone, you'll probably be safe.  Just to be sure, make sure you're home by the time it gets really dark.  If you have a cell phone or can borrow one from your mom or dad, check in every once in a while to let them know you're safe.  If you EVER feel unsafe, then head home.  You can always buy candy later if you decide to head home early! xoxo

How long does it take mods to read our questions and answers after we post them?

 

Hey girl! It varies- during the time MODs are working, it shouldn't take too long for us to get to your questions.  Since a lot of us are interns at GL, sometimes we've got other stuff going on that gets in the way of modding.  Late at night and early in the morning, there are no MODs working, so it takes until 10 am EST for the mods to be up and running again.  xoxo

So I'm going to a new school on Monday and I'm really nervous about my first day!
I want to make a good impression but I'm scared that I can't keep a conversation going or that everybody will ignore me! Also I bet all the girls will automatically organize their seats and sit next to their besties while I stand there not knowing where to sit! :s
Also do you have any conversation starters I can use that work?

Hey sweetie! If you panic and think that you'll be awkward, you'll seem nervous, so the first thing you should do is take a deep breath and smile.  Even if girls sit with their friends, there's no reason why you can't join in with a convo (if you hear someone talking about 1D and you LOVE them, mention how great you think their album is).  Try asking about work or if a student has had a teacher before- something casual and school related that can get the conversation started, then move on to introducing yourself.  xoxo

okay,i can't take this anymore!!this is an EMERGENCY!!!!!my older brother is mocking me alot these days and when i tell him to stop he starts hitting me and swearing and call me really really bad names and i always end up cryng and breathing abnormally.I told my mom i and my other family members but they don't seem they want to support me and make this stop.please i reallly need help because i feel depressed and having the feeling to commit suicide.please reply ASAP Cry

Hey Chocolate kiss, yeah this happens sometimes. I thin our skin gets use to the face washes, so it's good to up every now and then. I used to use ProActiv but then it started to burn my face and now I use Burt's Bees face wash. It is all natural and works and smells great. Its about 8 bucks and you can find it at CVS, Rite-Aid, Walmart, Target or the market. Hope it works for you! Xoxo

Ok so this has nothing to do with this but anyways I have this face wash & I've had it for a couple months now. But now whenever I use it it dries out my face!!!! Should I keep using it or should I get a dif one? If I should use a dif face wash could you possibly recommend one for me?

Hey WinnieGirlie, lol no worries I have a wa to help you. Some people learn better by watching, so go to YouTube for hair tutotarials. Type in hair straightening tutorials. There will be short videos that show you how to do your hair. Trust me it works. I've learned a lot of beauty tricks from there. Hope this helps! Xoxo
