One of the many reasons I am happy to be in Cali instead of Baltimore. It's not terrible, but if you are in the wrong place at the wrong time, you are defiantly in trouble. I'm thankful this didn't happen at the high school my friend stared going to today. Helen S.

Oh, and occurences like this are no more common than they were fifty years ago, but the news blows everything out of proportion. Also, to the people who are asking why fifteen year olds own guns, over 75% of households have at least one firearm.. Some people like to hunt.

The day before our school and neighbor school started, a girl was killed in a hit and run accident while walking home from her part time job at the local ice cream shop. Please give a moment of your thought for Karen (the girl).

2 years ago my school had the same incident except no one was shot. Some had a gun a threatened to shoot a guy I knew they (the school)had to lock all the doors in the school. Plus he (the victim) was so scared he started crying. They continued school after the caught him (the problem starter)
