Hi I am 13 years old and in 8th grade. I need a good, easy, informal, and natural way to ask/persuade my mom into letting me wear makeup. I honestly do not understand why she doesn't let me because for dance recitals I usually do most of my makeup and if I was able to wear makeup to school I would just wear neutral basics(Coverup, lip gloss, neutral eyeshadow, mascara, and blush). I feel like everyone at my school at least wears mascara but currently I am only allowed to wear lip gloss. Also I think my mom might not want me to wear it because my sister is 15 years old and she is a complete tomboy and has never even worn lipgloss. I just need a way to ask my mom if I can start wearing just the basics without pushing it. Thanks
