i went ice skating with my cutie...it was great (especially because i only moved on the ice when he pulled me by my waist) when my feet almost froze we had to go back to his house, though. he made me tasty peppermint cocoa and we played headbands with his little sis until my dad called me home.

So my BGF (whom I have a pretty big crush on) invited me to go skating during the holidays! Smile The problem is that 1) I have no idea what to wear, and how to style my hair (this is an outdoor skating rink, btw, and I live in Canada, so it's FREEZING during winter!), and 2) What to do during the "date"! I've never been on a date before, and I'm not even sure if the guy likes me "that way", so I don't want to be too flirty or anything (for exemple, should we hold hands or not??). Any ideas on how to avoid those awkward moments? And on how I should dress too, Smile


Hey girl,

If he's your bgf, he might not have meant it as a date if you're not sure if he likes you. But if you want to couple skate, there's nothing wrong with holding hands! Try to follow his lead and see how he acts around you. As for what to wear, I would wear pants (in case you fall on the ice!) and a long-sleeve shirt and jacket or sweatshirt to keep warm. Have fun!

I loveee the ice skating idea for my bf and I...sounds so romantic and cute. But the thing is....what if both of us don't know how to ice skate? How would that ever work out throughout the date if we just keep on falling and being awkward? xD

I think the fact that most people are bad at it is what makes ice skating so fun Smile Have a great time with your bf and don't worry about falling--it gives you another excuse to hold hands! Smile

Hey again! I'm playing Rapunzel in Into the Woods, and I was wondering if you knew how I could make her lines more...dramatic, I guess. Here are her lines:
(WITCH drags RAPUNZEL ONSTAGE and throws her to the ground)
WITCH
Why didn't you tell me you had a visitor?
RAPUNZEL
It was lonely atop that tower.
WITCH
(Stroking RAPUNZEL'S HAIR)
I gave you protection and yet you disobeyed me.
RAPUNZEL
I am no longer a child. I wish to see the world.
 
She's not really a big role, but I want people to notice me while I'm onstage. Smile Thanks!




Make sure to fall very dramatically when the witch throws you to the ground and stay on the ground looking very sad at the witch when she is stroking your hair. Push her away and stand up when you tell her you are no longer a child. Thank run away!

Hey! I'm doing a Secret Santa thing this year with a couple of my friends. I got my friend, let's call her Kezia, who's artistic but wants the books Everlost and Cinder. She also loves Baby Lips and nail polish. What should I get for her?




Since you know she will like both the books and the baby lips/nail polish, you are safe to just get the cheapest. Also keep in mind that she may like a particular scent/taste of baby lips and a particular color nail polish/brand as well.

So there is this guy that my family is family friends with. We have known each other since we were babies. I have the biggest crush on him... we always flirt and he always flirts with me and stuff but I can't tell if he feels the same way. I want to know what he is thinking but I don't want to ruin our friendship and relationship that we have and I don't want to make things awkward. we don't text because well thats just not how out relationship is... and yeah but when we do hangout my friends always say he stares at me and laughs at everything I say and stuff so please help. what should I do?!? i dont want to make things awkward but I want to know how he feels!! thanks so much! I m just so lost and confused and I dont know what do.

 

Hey girlie, if you're really good friends it won't make things awkward. He's probably afraid of the same things you are, but it's going to take a lot more than admitting your feelings to ruin a great friendship. You'll never unless you try and you'll feel better after you know for sure.
