This guy showed up in the middle of the year and when i looked in his eyes i gasped and quickly turned around iv never felt this way before.so after about a month i finally said a simple hi on our way from P.E. then later that day he gave me his number! but a week from Christmas he pretended his name was Jake and said don't text this number ever again. so i didn't. but then he randomly starts ignoring me. someone said he thinks I'm creepy.

so i got a role in my school play as leisel for the sound of music and at the end of the scene, leisel has to kiss rolph. well i'm a freshman and "rolph" is a senior and im so scared because i havent kissed anyone before. "rolph" is super nice but i just dont want to be a bad kisser and im nervous bc my first kiss is gonna be in front of so many people. any tips to keep calm? thanks so much <3

So for the most part im a pretty quiet girl. I don't mind it too much, but i want to start talking to people more, eccspecially guys.some of my friends are kinda teasing me about this and it's begun to get on my nerves. What are some ways to 1)start branching out and talking more and 2) start talking to new people? Thanks!

 

Hey girlie, you just have to be brave and confident and do it! If you want to do it badly enough, you'll make it work. You have to fake it until you make it so even if you're not feeling so confident about starting a conversation with a new person, if you act like you are you'll get more comfortable with it over time and no one will know you're shy.

So I told my crush that I liked him in October, and he acted a bit like a jerk. He was like "Yeah, I kinda thought so". It was really awkward. I said "Well sorry if this is awkward. See you next week" and I walked away. After the embarrassment, I get a Facebook message from him saying that he's sorry. He asked if he could text me, and he gave me his number. The next day, he had his bff reject me for him. I was heartbroken. Now, I see him tomorrow at karate. I just started this fighting competition thing, and whenever I see my ex-crush, I get nervous and my kick becomes weaker. My ex-crush is a higher belt that I am, so I'm kind of intimidated by him. How can I stop the nervousness? I want to show him that I'm not just a girly girl and that he should watch out! I'm normally a really strong kicker, but when it comes to him, I stop being confident. Hey girlie, do whatever you have to do to block him out. Focus on yourself and your kicking and pretend he isn't there. You need to try to forget about him. You can't let him continue to have a negative impact on your life.

So I asked this guy to a dance with some candy to go as friends. But he was very polite and said he couldn't because he said he had something going on. He is a really nice guy. But now i wonder should I ask someone else because I told him to keep the candy anyway but would it be weird to ask someone else and not have anything to give that person because what if he doesn't say yes ( the other guy)?

 

Hey girlie, go ahead and ask someone else as long as this guy is a definite no. You don't need to give a guy something to ask him to a dance. Just ask!

Hey girlie, I would bet it's probably your bra. If you notice that they hurt after wearing a certain bra, stop wearing that one and see if the problem continues. If that doesn't seem to be it then talk to a doctor about it.

I really liked this boy and we went to the movies together and held hands. We started dating and after about 2 weeks my best friends said he was ignoring me. I didn't think he was and so I didn't do anything about it. The next week one of my best friends told him that I hated him and then that same day my other best friend broke up with him for me without asking me. I would've asked him out again but when she broke up with him he said, "Good.". I don't really know what to do! Should I apologize to him? HELP! Cry

So yesterday on impulse I went up and hugged my guyfriend on the side and walked away. But today I said hello to him and he kind of didn't really respond happily he said hello half-heartily. He usually hugs me when we see each other but I never hug first he always does. Does he think I like him because of that, cause I don't really like him hes just my friend. Hey girlie, just be careful. You can't assume that he'll cheat on every girl that he'll ever be with. Sometimes things just happen. But go for it! Keep an eye out for any signs that he may be cheating on you, but don't worry so much about it.

I am sick and really don't feel good. I don't have a fever though so I decided to go to school. School is really running me down though making me feel absolutely horrible after. I don't want to miss school though because I do not want to miss all the tests I am having this week and miss out on al the lessons. I am also trying to get perfect attendance and I don't wanna miss out on everything my friends are doing. What should I do? Stay home or go to school?

 

Hey girlie, if you feel like you can go to school then do it. You only have two days left before you have the weekend to rest up. But if you're really not feeling well take a day off. Some rest and cold medicine will help you feel better.

I have a new crush on my basketball team. He's funny and nice and overall just really cool. It's kinda weird though, cause it's not really like a crush I've ever had before. Instead of being like, "OH MY GOODNESS! THERE HE IS! WHAT DO I SAY!" It's more like, "Oh look, there's ______, I'm gonna go say hi." I don't know if that makes any sense, but I guess it's more like a crush on a guy because he's cool, not because he's the cutest boy in town. When I think about him, it's not in a "I wish he would kiss me" kind of way, but more like, "I wanna hang out with him." When I started basketball, most everyone had already played before so he was always helping me and telling me good job and stuff. He's just really sweet, but I don't understand why I'm not all squealy about it. ?

 

hey girl! there are lots of different types of crushes. maybe one day you will get total butterflies over him, but its no biggie if you dont. in fact, it could be a sign that you like him for the right kind of reason. rather than fangirling over practically a stranger, youre crushing on a guy you befriended first...and thats awesome! good luck girlie.
