My 13th bday is today (yay!) Well, all the girls at my school who have their birthdays either that day or over a school break always carry around little birthday balloons, but I want to do something different to show it's my birthday (when I get back to school on Monday). How should I show its my birthday without a balloon, or with a little more subtlety?

Hey Casey_cookie, you could wear a plastic tiara. I remember my friends got me one for my birthday(it actually said "Birthday Girl"), and everyone kept complimenting me on how cute it was. I kept it for a few years too, until it broke lol. Hope this helps! Xoxo Smile

Help! My parents don't think I'm feminine. I AM! I mean I curl my hair, love pink and purple, like boys and stuff BUT I can also see where my parents are coming from because I have a lot of BGFs and I don't wear makeup (the reason I don't wear makeup is because God created me like this, so why put on chemical filled products to make me look unnatural?)...What do I do? Do I become feminine or stick to my roots?

Hey girlie, maybe you could come to some kind of compromise. It sounds like you're already doing feminine things, but maybe try making some good girlfriends or wearing some very subtle makeup like mascara or lip gloss.
