That's just not right. I understand your situation though. Studies show that when you grow up with something like that you are used to it no problem. But when you hit school and you see how taboo it is in public society you feel odd. In this case i would have immediately talked to my mom. Even though it's your dad try to distance yourself and try to set your own boundaries. Good Luck!

My friend used to sexually abuse me. But I want you to know that telling people does help! It makes it better and helps you. I told my parents about it, and they took care of it. IT GETS EASIER! You have to tell your mom. My prayers are with you. Helen S.

I know what your going through I had to go through I went through it with my grandpa during my middle school years(I was living my grandparents at the time), and I had to deal with the same things when I with him and much worse. You should find someone that will listen to you. Your mom will eventually come around like my parents did (it took them a year for them to realize the full truth and my grandma was just like your mom), but when they did realize the truth they stood by my side and defended me all the way through. As for right now, avoid your step-father if you let it go on the situation will only get worse. If he enters a room alone with you walk out of the room stay by your mom and if he's alone with you in the house go outside. He will get mad at you but take that anger he gives you and ignore it. Just walk away. If it gets bad enough find a friends house or a family members.

I'm so sorry! Your mom is probably in denial cause she is scared for you and your dad. Listen, you CANT let him abuse you like that. Tell him that you don't like it, that it bothers you, maybe even tell him your not his Gf! If you keep letting him abuse you, you could be hurt. Please promise me you wont let him keep it up. You have a voice so use it to defend you! Trust me,if you take this advice things will be better. Good luck!

I can't even describe how angry this makes me. Adults like this... ugh. No parent that loves you should treat you like that. Like an object. No boyfriend/girlfriend either. I can't imagine this happening to me, and I really feel for this girl. It must be horrible to be pushed around in such a sexual way. Hopefully she can get out of that situation!
by rileytibbles on 5/18/2013 11:53:19 AM
He's messed up no girl should have to go through that. You should just tell him to knock it off or if he starts physically abusing you when tell him to knock it off call the abusing center
by bella0105 on 5/18/2013 10:27:20 AM
That is so wrong. No girl should have to deal with that. Good for you for trying to get help.
by Glitterheart16 on 5/18/2013 1:30:07 AM
It is so wrong what he is doing, hopefully you can get some help. Its sounds like he needs a lot of help to.

Wow! That's tough! I hope everything turns out okay
by Sweetie99 on 5/17/2013 4:04:00 PM
I'm so sorry that you have to go through that! No girl should ever have to suffer they way you and too many other girls have. Writing that letter and that fact that your mom knows about the issue is certainly a good start. I know what you're going through because I sort of speak from experience and I promise it gets better and you're 10 times stronger than you think. ( BTW, I'm here if you need someone to talk to.)Good luck!
