I'm having a spa party soon, and I want to treat some friends to manicures. Only thing is, I've never been to a nail spa place and i'm not sure how much they cost. How much do manicures usually cost for an individual?

It can really vary a lot depending on where you go, so I would look at some of the places near you, or call or check their website for prices. You could also have a spa party at your house, which would be way cheaper and just as fun!

MOD MOD MOD... I'm 16 and my dermatologist put me on birth control about 2 1/2 months ago for my acne. I'm supposed to get my period every 3 months, but just started my period which is a 1/2 a month early. I'm also getting bad cramps in my lower abdomen and i'm definently not spotting since I'm bleeding a lot. The pill cleared up all my acne though so I don't want to have to stop using it. I don't want to act like it's a big deal if its really not. Should I see my doctor about this or is it normal?

 

Hey! always see your doctor about medical questions. This could be normal, but the best way to find out is to talk to the professionals. good luck girl

I haven't been able to escape from criticism lately, and it is making me feel like I'm not good enough. I feel like I'm being victimized by adults in my life (one of my teachers and my coach). It's a daily thing. My teacher tells me I need to stop trying to compete with my friends, because I can't. My coach makes really rude comments to me but not my other teammates. He may be joking, but none of us, especially me, think it's funny. I want to speak up, but I'm afraid. If it's my word against theirs, who will believe me? I'm just a "child," their the adults. I have this one teacher I am really close to and she helps me through so much. Do you think that I should mention this to her? I don't know if she can do anything...but I want to raise awareness. It's not only peer to peer bullying that goes on. Or should I just forget about it and keep my mouth shut? Do you have any advice on what I should do? Thank you(:

 

Hey girl! Tough situation! You can try mentioning it to the teacher your close with. See if she has any advice and any tips on how to deal with what's going on.  Good luck! xo
