I've been told Orange Juice is similar to drinking a glass of soda... But hey, maybe not Smile

My only friend in my class moved schools, and because I'm in an honors class we don't get new students and if we do its only one or two people, typically boys. I now have no friend sin my class, and my only other friend is in regular classes so I will only see her at lunch. I have nobody, all the other kids are either mean or we just don't click as friends. I'm really scared about starting school because I'll be all alone, and I'm going into 7th grade. What should I do? I don't have anyone.

Hey girl! Take a deep breath. It might seem like there's nobody left in your class, but I promise you, there's at least one person there who is looking to make friends too- maybe you just never noticed them, because you never had to look! Next time you have school, walk in with a smile on your face, and sit next to a group of people (no hiding in the corner!). Ask a question or give a compliment to the girl sitting next to you on something that it looks like she tried hard on- maybe her hair is extra silky today, or you're totally loving her DIY Tom's. Being very different from her is okay- just keep on talking, smiling, and being as friendly as possible. Try making some new friends in other classes, too- even at lunch. Now, relax! Be yourself, you've got this.

MOD MOD MOD I want to go to a country concert this summer. I know someone who has a megaticket which gets you into every concert at Blossom. We started talking a while ago and grew very close. I want to hang out with him at the concert. I can't just leave my dad to hang out with him and I'm sure he will be with his friends and I would feel weird about it. We message online but I hardly ever get to see him in person. This would be my one chance to get to hang out with him in person for more than a minute or two. What should I do? Thanks!

Hey girl! Next time you message with this guy online, see if he wants to hang out with ya at the concert! As for dad, let him know that you'd like to see a friend while at the concert, and maybe you two will be able to chat for a minute or two. If not? Don't get stressed by it! Enjoy the concert, and set up another time to meet with this guy- in person. Good luck!

Hi! I'm going to the beach in exactly a week, and i'm due to have my period about 2 days before, but i can't stop that from letting me have fun in the water! So i've been thinking about trying tampons, but my mom told me years ago (in this same situation) that she didn't want me to try them since they can give you "infections". I can walk down the street to the local grocery store and buy some while shes at work, but i'm scared to use them since i never have before. Do you think this is a good idea? and any tips on first timers? Any help is great! Thanks Smile

Hey girl,

Talk to your mom about it again- she won't want you to miss out on swimming while you're on vacation! Let her know that you only want to wear them for the few hours you're at the beach, and then stick to pads for the rest of the day. Good luck and have fun!
