Please help! Lately I've been feeling so miserable because of my race. My family's Hindu, and my parents are both from India though I'm a native born US citizen ( I've only been to India twice). When I was online, I found a lot of hate groups and messages directed toward my family's race. Also, I've been bullied at school, and my mom says its not because of race it's because I'm not confident enough. I'm paranoid at this point since I feel like everyone's judging me for everything, including my manicure because I didn't get to do my nails this wk, we had finals. Also, I posted before about ppl talking about the smell; they call me gross because of smell; they don't understand that Indian food can smell pretty strong and the scent sticks to clothes-- I hate it too but there's not much I can do about it . They told everyone in our Spanish class that I was "gross" and "messed up", and they laughed at me though they saw how upset I was. What's your opinion/suggestions?

Hey girl! I'm sorry this is happening to you. Your race isn't anything you should not be proud of, and it's about the furthest thing from "gross" and "messed up". Seek out good friends- ones who are smart enough to understand other cultures besides their own. I promise you, there's plenty of them out there. As for the bad apples, try to ignore or avoid them. When it comes down to it, they are simply bullies, and do not deserve your attention. If they continue to act like this, talk to a teacher or guidance counselor, and tell them about your problem. Try your best not to sweat the small stuff- having a bad mani is perfectly alright! Good Luck! xxx

Manika I saw you at the 1D concert in Florida and have been a fan since. I don't understand how Demi Lovato or Selena Gomez got so famous. Your music is so much better than theirs.

WOW!!! What a powerful song, MY WAY. I've watched the video 5 times already. Time to buy the double album.
