My school picture day is this Friday, and I need some tips for my picture! I'm American Indian so my hair is very coarse, but puffy and voluminous. My plan is to straighten so hopefully it won't be as puffy. Do you have any straightening tips? And also I'm wearing mascara, and BB cream from Maybelline. Do you have to wear moisturizer before applying BB cream with fingers?(because I'm not allowed to use brushes yet) BB cream also dries out my face sometimes, and I have a little acne in the t-zone. My picture day is at 9 in the morning.
Hey chica! BB Cream should moisturize your face, but if you feel like it doesn't, then go ahead and moisturize before you put it on. As for your hair, trying letting it air dry most of the way and then hitting it with a blow drier the night before so you don't have to spend as much time with a straightener. And make sure to use a product to protect your hair from the heat! xoxo

MOD MOD MOD I want to wear full-on makeup (eyeliner, eye shadow, mascara etc.) but in more natural tones. My mom will only let me were lipgloss, and lipstain. So i make the best of it and wear a colored lipstain with gloss that could match the color. Since im now thirteen, what brand would you reccomend? And what colors have the best effect on dark complextions?
Hey girlie, try CoverGirl for a drugstore brand or Sephora for something a little more expensive. For dark skin try a berry color or dark red.

MOD MOD MOD!
So I want to wear a little makeup, probably just some foundation or BB cream, lip gloss (which I already wear on a regular basis), and maybe some mascara, which I think is plenty for an 8th grader. My mom wants me to wear the same mineral makeup she does, which only comes in powder form. I understand her reasoning for the mineral makeup, but I don't want to wear a lot of makeup like she does- hardly anyone at my school wears full makeup, just what I want to wear and some eyeliner. I also find powder makeup annoying because it gets EVERYWHERE. I would prefer cream/liquid makeup, so is there a good brand of natural or mineral makeup that carries cream or liquid makeup? Thanks in advance, and sorry for making this so long!
Hey lol1029, check out Bare Minerals! I think they have a good liquid foundation. Let me know how it works out for you! Xoxo

Hello, I want to start wearing makeup. I don't really know much about makeup so I would like to have some tips.
I want to invest in trying a new blush, lip gloss, and a good-quality mascara that works.
I'm going to 10th grade and I am 15 years old.
I have black hair, brown skin, and dark brown eyes.
Hey chica! If you're lookin' for high quality stuff, head to a store like Sephora or Ulta and talk to the people who work there. They'll be able to give you specific products and you'll be able to test out different blushes and lip glosses to see what you like. xoxo

I tried the fuzzy and it wasn't that...... fuzzy. I'll try it again though and see if it was just one bad coat.

Heya im going back to school on the 28th I have to wear a uniform but I dont want to totallyblend in so anyways to kind change it?? (Its a turquoise jumper and skirt with grey tights and a cream shirt) And we're not allowed wear makeup but everyone gets away if its natural so how much should I wear?? Im not sure because some people cake it on and it looks horrible but my face is kinda shiny :/ so I dont know how much to put on.
Sorry thats its so long but thank you!!
Ps can you use a glue gun on leather shoes??
Hey chica! Put on the amount of makeup you're comfortable with! You can put on just a little powder and mascara, or you can try blush and eyeliner if you are more comfortable (and you can get away with it). I wouldn't advise using a glue gun with leather shoes- it might burn the leather instead of sticking to it! xoxo
