I cheated, but it was an accident!

 
I accidentally cheated on my boyfriend, and he won’t forgive me. I want him back, but he won’t talk to me! What can I do?

 

Dear Caught Cheating,

You “accidentally” cheated on your BF? What does that mean? You’re responsible for your actions, so you can’t say “Oops, didn’t mean to kiss that guy!” To let your BF know you still care, apologize sincerely. Acknowledge that what you did was wrong and hurtful and that you won’t do it again. If he still won’t forgive you, end this romance with dignity and kindness and move on. Maybe it wasn’t supposed to last forever anyway.
