I'm crushing on my best friend's dude...should I make a move?

I have a crush on my BFF’s new boyfriend. Over spring break, he asked us if we liked anyone in our grade. I should have made my move, but I said “no” while my BFF said “kinda” (referring to him). Now I’m jealous! I really like him, but I don’t want to hurt my BFF. Help, this is urgent!

Dear Likes Best Friend’s BF,

There’s urgent, then there’s urgent. I recognize you’re frustrated, but you don’t need me to tell you to stay out of their way. Feelings may switch around at some point, but right now, it’d be awkward if you were to tell your BFF you like-like her boyfriend. Let them be.
