My crush and I were walking home in the rain one day. Neither of us had brought an umbrella, so we were soaking wet. About halfway home, his dad, who was coming home from the store, saw us and pulled over. He asked if I needed a ride but I said no. Then my crush leaned into the car. I thought he was going to hitch a ride, so I kept walking. After a few seconds, I saw his dad drive off and was kinda sad that I had to walk alone. But then I realized the rain wasn’t hitting me anymore. When I turned around, I saw my crush carrying an umbrella over our heads!
